Yeah, that's the insider from GTPlanet I was talking about. Guess something will happen in a couple hours.

I'm super hyped that GT is 60fps.

I'm sure it will also look good on the base ps4 but it's going to look and run phenomenal on the Pro.

Driveclub has satisfied my driving needs the first half of the gen and gran turismo is hopefully going to satisfy the second half.

Only downside this gen is no off road racing game.  I'd love a reboot on ps4 or a third party publisher to make a good rival multiplatform game but alas it looks unlikely.

BTW does the boost mode on the Pro boost games played on ps now or ps2 classics?

Well PS Now is impossible to boost because well it runs in the cloud.

PS2 Classics I don't know.

gonna check out the new no mans sky update

wow this has a fantastic photo mode.  Pleasantly surprised and the graphical updates are noticeable right when starting.

Really liking the update.  Everything is just much more robust and feels more complete now.  Will jump back in later when I don't have much else to play though.

What does the photo mode do that makes it better than normal?

It's fully free floating and you can move anywhere around the planet.  If there is a boundary I didn't hit it.  Obviously most games have areas where there is no geometry so they have to limit the camera somewhat, but it's nice to have the freedom.  Also they have it so you can hit R3 and it will place the sun in the location you are looking.  Most everything else is same sort of features as others.  The free floating camera just gives it a win for me.

That's pretty awesome! It's really frustrating how games normally force the camera to be so close to the player.

lol at the sun thing. There's a glitch where it doesn't remove the current sun so you end up with two in the sky. A person posted this on the NMS subreddit so now they think the patch added binary stars  ::)

Yeah I didn't go super far from my character but I went well past the area that is the normal boundary for most photo modes.

I didn't even notice that it didn't remove the current sun.  That would be kinda cool though. People are gonna get disappointed again when it's just a photomode glitch.  That's how the hype for the game got out of hand, but people creating stuff that isn't true.

In all fairness, when a developer promises something it should be in the game.

I just got my copy of God of War Ascension from Amazon a day early :D

Now I have the entire God of War series to play in glorious HD before the new one comes out on PS4 - gonna do a marathon once I finish Zelda BotW.

I need to play ascension. I started to play it with my week free PS Now trial but only played about 30 mins of it before it ended.

True, but I think it was a combination of hello games being vague and the fanbase blew it up like it was gonna be these huge features.  But yeah it was the developers fault for that.

Super impressed with 3d blu ray on PSVR.   Image quality on the cinema mode seems a lot better and the depth to the 3d is quite impressive.  The medium sized cinema picture seemed perfect for the best depth.  Large was a bit too close and I think took away some of the depth a bit.

Don't make me link all the direct lies they stated again ;)

Are the servers still up? Multiplayer was my favorite part of that game.

Not sure but that was one hella of a update though, 30 minutes just to download and install all of the updates which I'm guessing were all for MP.
