Little bit out of left field, but some dude on the GT Planet forum has teased that there will be one small news and one big news in regards to GT Sports before this weekend. Well the small news is out, it's this

So, I think this guy is legit, which opens the question what the big news could be. Maybe the release date? I'm not sure how many here would even care (I'm sure etho would ), but I think knowing this date would be interesting even if you don't particularly care about the game itself, cause the earlier this game releases the more likely it is that Sony has more planned for the holiday season.

well Gravity Rush, Nioh, and Horizon are out of the way. Neir is almost out too. its time to shift focus to the next batch of exclusives which are Uncharted LL, GTS and Detroit. we already have an Uncharted game informer cover, so we might as well get news about GTS. i hope this releases sooner than expected, because as you said if it does it could mean Sony has more planned for later in the year.

I would love some new footage of GT Sport, heck a release date would be nice too. Sony probably realised they didn't need it last year and nor for the first couple of months this year too.

Well there is quite a bit of footage out there, which is why I feel that just a new trailer wouldn't really count as a big piece of news. It would have to be a release date or something racing game related, that I personally can't think of since I'm not into those kind of games.

Good, I really hated that delay in the PS3 ver.

(I was gonna buy this again - it will be triple dipping for me since I have all of the games on PS2/GBA/NDS/PSP and PS3 ^__^ )

GT: Sport should probably be released in September. After summer,  before the big holiday games and then there's time to bundle it later for the holidays.  

Ibelieve sport is a glorified prologue and that we'll get a GT7 in 2 years but I'm very much hyped for it.
