Horizon

I think one thing Sony deserves props for is how they generally have kept the Playstation fans updated with news excited to be about. Last year they did a pretty job keeping people interested in the first half of the year with GR remastered, Street Fighter 5, Ratchet and Clank and UC4 news, previews and reviews and then had an unbelievable E3 which kept people satisfied for months. They dropped the Horizon GI cover in September and there was new and previews for GT Sport, GR2 and TLG. Then at the end of the year they had another brilliant conference with PSX. I feel like they this year they are even better. They kept people interested with GR2, Horizon and MLB from their studios whilst propping up Nioh, Nier Automata and smaller titles like Yakuza and Tales. You would think they would have a break but now we have a cover for UC The Lost Legacy and GT Sport as well as Persona 5 dropping in April. It seems like every month leading up to E3 there is always something exciting, interesting or new from Playstation which keeps people engaged. And they have so many titles which they could show more footage of they could keep up this engagement for the rest of the year I reckon.

No man's sky pro patch ✅
Updates improving& fixing the game ✅
Indie game price tag - Almost!

It is on sale for €15 right now.  Once it hits €10 I'll buy it and enjoy the game for a week or two.  Get my money's worth and move on. I made a good decision not buying at launch.

Haha you can go back through the launch thread and read so many posts of mine where I almost bit the bullet. PC performance problems were the final thing that saved me until the hype wore off.

I then felt bad about hyping up others to buy it on PS4 at launch  :-[  It's great that the game is improving for free.

I just pre-ordered Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Limited Steelbook Edition :)

My first Steelbook purchase! (Although I'm gonna try to buy Persona 5 Steelbox Edition before it comes out - if BB still accepts orders for it).

Also since I had some gift card monies left over, sweetened the deal a bit more for me ;)

About 5 dollars more than what I paid for Pokemon Sun for the 3DS, not bad.

Oh man.

I was wondering what happened with my storage.

TLoUR, Uncharted Collection, FFType-0 HD and FFXV take up half of my storage.

There doesnt seem like any difference at all between buying a physical or digital copy except if you want pretty boxes (like I did :p). I hate how you have to install the game onto the storage just to play it >.>

It's faster to install physical games, easy to uninstall and reinstall.

This.  Game installs are pretty fast.

Yeah people can call it shame if they paid $40-60 near launch.  But nobody will be able to argue it's not good when I get it for €10, play it on the Pro and play a much later version with many updates.

I'll basically be buying an amazing indie game for an indie price.

Speed of install isnt the issue, the fact that you have to install, and then upgrade (if there is a updated version) is the issue. I miss the old days when it was just putting in the disc and playing the games :(

THat's cool. I got an email from Sony for beating Horizon.

BananaKing

I wonder what type of game sucker punch are making. Is it an RPG? Or an action game?

Horizon is an action RPG. Days Gone is an action game. I wonder if it's going to be a post apocalyptic game too, Sony has too many of those already. Days Gone, Horizon, TLoU and Death Stranding.

BasilZero

I just beat Ratchet and Clank per Ratchet and Clank Collection for the PS3.

Holy smokes, this game was so dang glitchy and annoying at times lol

I found it okay but found myself more frustrated with it than most other platformers.

I give it a 78 out of 100.

Hopefully its two sequels after it are better games.

To be fair, we don't actually know what Death Stranding is. If I remember correctly, it was said that the trailers do not necessarily represent the game as far as what it is. It also seems like every time Kojima "explains" what the game is, it is either not what he said before or a detail has been altered. I think he's pulling his usual stunt of screwing with the fans.

Ratchet 3 is the best one of the ps2 games. Should've just played the remake on PS4 of ratchet 1!
