Everything on XBO is shooting up except Fallout. Smart for them to get that bundle.

Yeah, although its performance compared to PS4's COD and SW bundles is abysmal. I think they've really slipped up with their bundles this year, which is strange considering holiday bundling is usually MS's strength

Also, the SW LE bundle charted in the Top 100 for September and October. The Fallout bundle failed to finish in the Top 100.

That's what I mean. If you extrapolate amazon performance to the whole US then the SW and COD bundles have at least a few hundred thousand pre orders in total... Fallout is MS's only big competing bundle and that must have, what? Less than 50k?

A direct non-answer.

#97 PS4 Star Wars (new)

Bolded doesn't count towards October NPD!

I think that is the final chart for October, big update for PS4 there. Does that confirm a PS4 victory? To rub salt in Xb1's wounds the normal Star Wars bundle just made it on the chart too
Might want to check again.

I guess we'll see tomorrow if MS is making a PR statement regarding Halo. And "global" is a funny way to say US and UK :P

Another product probably sold more than the Uncharted bundle. And dear lord, the SW LE bundle is breathing down the Halo bundle's neck.

The SW bundle is going to be ridiculously huge, especially combined with the other bundle

Quote from: Max King of the Wild on Nov 02, 2015, 05:14 PMSo... 300->450k Halo in Europe first week? The rule of thumb was UK = 1/3 of sales for xbox. But being that xboxone is just irrelevant in other countries compared to 360 then I'd have to think UK makes up a bigger percent now. Less than or barely passing 1m first week?
it will do like 1.5 million minimum in the states alone. (first week)

That xbox live usage PR stat is gonna get old fast.  They need to think of a new one fast.

Maybe "November seen a record number of tweets by Tim dog regarding the x1,  up 56% on his 8,400 tweets in October.  We are humbled that a grown man would act like our employee despite not getting a penny.  If only more were like you Tim. You go dawg!"

pushing that "XBL usage" agenda i see. i guess they will start using that when ever they should be talking about sales. just to try make it feel important.

Analysis: Sony continues to widen its console sales lead over Microsoft | Ars Technica
(Arstechnica) Analysis: Sony continues to widen its console sales lead over Microsoft - NeoGAF

Quotehttp://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/1...ver-microsoft/
There are some interesting graphs from Ars, like always:///
QuoteSo which system showed the most improvement in its second year on store shelves? That depends on how you look at it. On a relative basis, Microsoft seemed to have the better year, with annual sales increasing over 25 percent compared to just a 17 percent increase for the PS4 (Fig. 5). But the PS4 was starting at a much higher base of 13.5 million sales in its first 11 months compared to about 7.2 million sales for the Xbox One in the same period.
The result (Fig. 6) is that the PlayStation 4 actually outsold the Xbox One by a slightly larger margin in its second year (6.8 million more console shipments than Xbox One) than it did in its first (6.33 million more console shipments than Xbox One). In other words, while the Xbox One is increasing its sales at a faster rate than the PS4, Microsoft still lost more ground to Sony this year than last on an absolute basis.Of course, if current annual sales rate increases continue, the Xbox One would eventually overtake the PS4 in the annual sales race. However, that process would take quite a while. Fig. 7 above shows just how long, projecting out how annual sales would look if the PS4 continued to increase annual sales by about 17 percent a year and the Xbox One continued to improve at about 25.5 percent annually.
It's important to note that console sales patterns decidedly do not work in this way, and it's a bit ridiculous to expect annual sales to continue increasing in this kind of parabolic curve. Still, it's interesting to see that based on current trends, the Xbox One wouldn't start to outsell the PS4 on an annual basis until 2024.
At that point, Sony would have continued building up a significant life-to-date lead of over 50 million consoles worldwide before Microsoft would be able to stop the bleeding (Fig. 8).
The takeaway from this hypothetical is clear: Xbox One sales need to improve at a faster rate (or PS4 sales need to start slowing down significantly) if Microsoft wants to have any hope of pulling even with Sony's sales in this console generation. Xbox Division Chief Phil Spencer might say that Microsoft isn't that concerned with the Xbox One's relative market share, but for anyone who is, the road ahead continues to look difficult.
