Pretty much. Like the game would probably have been fine without Halo being released. Better question is, WTF is Microsoft thinking? Spending that much money on a third party title, just to send Halo to slaughter it.

@Legend I don't think you realize why people buy Halo. It's for the multiplayer; between that and Call of Duty there's no room for Tomb Raider. Doesn't help that historically at best. the franchise sold "alright" on Microsoft's platforms. There's nothing to really support 2 million. Especially if the 360 only managed to push 2 million copies, at discounted prices, against less competition. Xbox One isn't the 360, the majority of Xbox One owners are probably XBox fanatics. Those same fanatics who buy Halo and Call of Duty almost exclusively.

You're ignoring that he mentioned COD though. Its a treyarch year so I expect many will stay hooked on the multiplayer for a long time, most will still be playing when ROTR comes out. Hardcore halo fans will be playing halo and most other FPS fans will be playing blops 3 or battlefront a bit later. This will definitely hurt Tomb Raider, hopefully not too much.
