Man do I hope this is cool. I've been looking forward to this presentation for like half a year, and of course much longer than that for this tech in general.

Think of it as an E3 of old where a new generation gets announced. It could be amazing and be the biggest hype moment you've ever experienced! Or it could just be a teaser of what is years away.

It's too late for empty promises. Might crash and burn but I guess a few years ago Musk decided to go all in on not having a steering wheel. Others on the team really wanted to make it optional. If they don't pull this off, it might be one of the most expensive mistakes in business history.

(Or the book was wrong, or I'm misremembering)

I thought all the hype people were overly ambitious thinking it'd be a full simulated city, but it sure looks like that's what they're doing. Guess they will at least have multiple prototypes (or just shuttle people around in their existing cars)
