When do ya'll think the next game will come out? At this rate we could have a few during summer and then starfield end of year.

with pentiment releasing TOMORROW i don't know how MS could have been surprised by the rumors or think it was possible to not talk about this until later.

tin foil hat time but i think spencer knew (directed even) the leaks to happen.

seeing loads of copium today that these games on ps will "show ps owners that they've been missing out on the best games" and thusly move to buying an xbox either immediately or at the next-gen transition.

man I can already tell I'm going to be so annoyed at the 180 from MS about exclusivity.  And are, imo, going to use it as a way to bully and push sony to put exclusives onto PC/xbox earlier.

Starfield is most certainly coming within the next year to ps5

- halo infinite
- ori (1 and 2 collection)
- starfield
- forza horizon

I don't know if Halo Infinite is worth it. The devs have already moved on. Halo MCC might be a better one if they want to build hype for the next Halo reboot.

Ori could work but the studio doesn't work with Microsoft anymore. Don't think they'd bother unless a new studio was hired to make Ori 3.

Starfield for sure. Give it a year on xbox and then port. Horizon also makes sense but I wonder how they'd do on PS5. Every entry keeps getting worse.


Besides gears, I think that's it. Lots of in development games but only a few are out.

after 1 year I would agree.  I expect something else gets ported before that though with how quickly they got pushed out the door.   

if this was it for 2024 I would think they'd be spread out more.

actually getting worse or just sequelitis?

regardless it's a game with sting service elements from what I understand so it should be a good candidate for porting.
