Cockpits are the best things for VR games. Makes you feel locked in place while the world is zipping around you.

Still though I wouldn't doubt lots of people will get sick feeling from playing it. As VR matures, it'll be interesting to see a divide form between games for first time players and games for people that have played VR for years. Kinda like how current 3D games are so complex but any gamer can pick them up in seconds.

I loved the first one but have little desire to try before the storm. Without the time mechanic, I just don't see how it could be anywhere near the same quality.

The first one is absorbing. I will play the second one but no real urge to yet. Probably love it like the first once I do play it.

As Legend said, it depends on the person. Some people just simply won't be able to play this.

Its great. I'm stuck on the later levels but its a good challenge for a while. I stopped because I don't want to spend hours of my life trying to get through each level :P

Yeah, but as I was saying the game does well with it.  As Legend also said, cockpits are great for VR.

I think it's interesting that more games aren't doing HUDs.

They kind of do that a little bit on Oculus.  They have comfortable games, and then they have intense games.  But it'll be interesting to see how that changes.

HUDs at least personally feel odd just being glued to your head in VR. Normal people never experience anything like that in real life.

Also that doesn't really mimic the TV experience. With a HUD displayed on a TV you see all of it and can twist your head when looking at parts of it. In VR it feels closer to your face and you can't twist your head to see it.

Not sure how common this is, but when prototyping Cube Royale VR I really liked displaying the HUD within the 3D space as if there was a magic floating TV screen in front of you. Felt more like a traditional game HUD than an Iron Man suit.

I actually bought the last collector edition of Life is Strange: Before the Storm.  I haven't put it in yet, since I'm going to be moving to Breath of Fire 2 after I finish Persona 3 (That in itself is taking me a while).  I think I'm going to like it though, just thinking of the first game (Even without the time mechanic) is giving me goosebumps.  I just don't now when I'm going to put it in though.
