Good second week for the switch. It's probably still supply constrained so it'll be interesting to see how it goes from next week onwards

Up a lot YTD. just beat ps3 to 4.5m and it's software is selling well.

Could it actually beat ps3 to 5m. Needs to average 25k between now and August. Tough ask!

It is quite a tough ask. There's not really any big games coming out in that time period is there?

71% drop for Horizon is not bad at all. Also good hold for the Switch.

Visited my trusty Saturn earlier. Horizon still sold out, Switch too, clerk told me that they expect to get 4-5 Switches next week, but in his opinion the stock situation for the Switch is going to be comparable to the NES Classic. Also Zelda Wii U was sold out, while Zelda Switch had like 20 copies or so in store as if to mock people that they couldn't play Zelda.

Nope. Just smaller titles in Japan like mass effect, beach splash, sword art online, crash bandicoot, FF12 remastered etc etc etc.

Nothing major that screams system seller. They still haven't met demand for the ps4 pro so maybe that will inflate it's sales over the summer.

Still a 25k average is possible especially because it will beat that for the next few weeks and that drags the average needed for the summer down.

But it's a big ask.

Ps4 wins the battle to 4.5m. Next stop 5m. Credit Hiska-san.
