Switch sold 45k units at launch in Spain - NeoGAF

Great start for switch and Zelda.

Is it me or are those horizon sales not that great? The first country reporting it much lower than Uncharted 4.

Better numbers GAF OP is inaccurate (Vandal radio numbers).

The attach rate is 88% for Zelda... almost 90% not 100% lol

Horizon sold 114 copies in its second week at Comg, more than twice what Zelda (55 on Switch + Wii U) did in its second week, in fact Zelda on Switch was even outsold by 1-2 Switch (40 vs. 42). I really hope Horizons strong performance at Comg is not just an outlier for Japan.

Also fingers crossed for some freaking sales PR from Sony tomorrow finally.

When you launch with big attach rate is really hard to have a good second week... most Switch owners bought the game... the fact the portable is out of stock makes even hard to sell more Zeldas.

That excuses the drop of the Switch version, not the Wii U version. Remember when the PS4 came out, how the split for crossgen titles looked in Japan for almost another year? It's insane how dead the Wii U has to be in Japan of all places, for BotW to not only be selling more on the Switch at launch but to also show no real signs of legs (at least according to Comg) on the Wii U either.

Horizon dropped only 60% in its second week. But Wildlands did have a bigger launch than Horizon.

i felt wildlands will do good. just like how watch dogs and the division did good. Ubisoft seemed to market this well.

What on Earth? Wildlands came out of nowhere. I expected this game to not do well at all, I haven't seen any hype for it online and it wasn't doing too great on Amazon. That's quite impressive then.

It's actually a really good opening for Zelda and I wouldn't have expected Horizon to do that much.  

So if I estimate:
110k - Japan
110k - France
40k - Spain
150k - UK
200k - Germany

So maybe
750k for the EU and Japan
750k North America
And 100k ROTW

That's about 1.6m. With 20% digital that would be 1.9m first week.  When Sony announces shipment numbers I expect them to be around 2m.
