I'm wondering how much truth there is to all the refugee claims.
What claims are we talking about? Though I assume that most of them are exaggerated or straight up false.

Mostly the claims that all Germans have been raped by the refugees.

Oh that one. Yes, that is true, I've just gotten back from my daily rape session myself.

lol.
I hear it all the time that crime is way up now in Germany.  Just trying to hear about it from a native.
My guess is, even if it is up it's probably way worse in America.

So I just read something that he's not going to take a salary.

Trump Says He'll Refuse Salary If Elected President : snopes.com

QuoteIf Trump were to win the election on 8 November 2016 and keep his word that he wouldn't accept any of the $400,000 annual salary offered, he would be in the company of other such as John F. Kennedy, who was also born into wealth and donated his entire presidential salary to charity, and Herbert Hoover, who was also independently wealthy and donated his presidential salary to charitable causes.

I've personally noticed nothing of that sort. If crime is up then it's probably only by a small degree, it's just that the media will cover crimes commited by refugees way quicker than crimes commited by natives or people that have lived here for years and even then I haven't heard anything about a refugee related crime in months actually (but maybe I just missed them).

But I live in the city and from what I can tell the situation is most difficult in rural areas, because there's for really not much to do in these areas in general and there's also a huge communication problem with the locals as even english can be hard to come by in many rural areas in Germany.

i must say upfront that my knowledge on the us/china trade isn't complete but....

...doesn't the US have a massive trade imbalance with china?  like okay we can't sell iphones there but like litterally most of china's exports grind to a halt.  i mean, it's sad for apple if they get kicked out of the market but that was china's plan anyways.

things would suck for a little while in america (those that buy their things from walmart would be hit hard for a little bit) but i honestly wouldn't mind if trump nuked our trade deals with china and we moved our imports to more western friendly nations like india or mexico.

also, lol that think the massive amount of debt we owe china means they hold all the cards.  this is trump we're talking,.. he'll default on that debt in an instant...

Im glad someone gets it. my head was spinning  after reading the gaf comments.

Yes we import way more than they buy from us. I phones wouldn't be hit that bad. i bet they would move production to the Philippines or veitnam. and apple would loose a market. theyll survive.

Boeing has a 35 billion dollar back log. or about 20 years worth of work. they wouldnt even notice. but China would as soon as they pull all that  work they moved over there. and thats jobs that are likely to move back here. and those are good paying jobs that we want back.

Gm.. well thats sad but theyll survie as a small company.

All the rest will be moved to other countries that will be happy to pay the tax to have the work.

Like you said, walmart will suffer in the short  term, but over all its a win for us.

People are still posting "I'd run Republican because they are stupid" and I found a reddit saying it wasn't a article but a video and it's been scrubbed from the Internet

it's crazy how stupid people are in believing this. The stories change so drastically from on account to another. One person says it was off camera. One person says they clearly see him smile. One person says it's Oprah. One person says it wasn't a well known publication. One person says it was female. Another says it was a male... This is enough to tell me the video doesn't exist. People claim it was scrubbed from the Internet... But that is literally impossible. The people with the video could just keep uploading it. And if it existed Hillary would have had the video. One person says the meme is to detract from the actual interview... Because convincing millions upon millions he said this (people don't fact check) is a great idea when you're trying to hide it

the quote was said in the exact same way that obama is a muslim and hillary has major health issues and deserves to go to jail for her role in benghazi, rigging the election against benie/trump, and something something about emails that can't quite be verbalized...

oh... don't say that.  i don't get it.  honestly no one probably does in this very co-dependant globalized world....

...but my gut feel is it would be a lot easier to get one of the worlds other 195 countries to create the goods we consum then it would be for china to replace that (from what i read in the neogaf thread so don't take this number too seriously) 20% of their economy that directly serves american consumption.

I spotted two idiots on gaf right away. Boeing did close it wichita branch and moved to OKC, which they recently finish work on a state of the art Facility. And would be the first place I apply if I ever get laid off. Second, these jobs pay more than the average college student will make. And a site like this would employ 500 or more college graduates. From management to engineers and IT. BTW, this happened 2 years ago. Not something that is in the process. Boeing has the facilities here they would rip the work out of china, and wouldn't miss a step in production. Besides they are pretty pissed off with their vendors there. They are on the verge of pulling work anyway. I'm not sure what these idiots think America should do for work. Not everyone can sit behind a desk for 30 years of their life.

Not now that Boeing Wichita's shut down.

The bulk of Boeing Wichita's work has moved to Oklahoma City, San Antonio and the Seattle area. Most of its 2,100 Wichita employees are gone. They have moved with Boeing, have been laid off or have retired.
