GAF has been extremely bad since GamerGate began. Aquamarine also expressed her frustrations with GAF on how political views that are to the right tend to be ganged up on. And the views aren't even necessarily right-wing.

In my English class last semester, we learned about W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington.
Booker T. Washington was born into slavery, saw the day it ended, and became a very influential member of the African American community.  Basically a civil rights activist, and yet I'm 99% sure GAF would call him a racist for holding the views he did.

yea gamergate really set things in motion within gaf to create what we see today.  as the bans piled up for people who were on the non feminist side, the natural order of split politics was destroyed.   once it started to tip, anyone with a dissenting opinion  would get sprayed with replies demanding explanations or attempts to put words in that persons mouth, then because its impossible to reply to everyone,  they would get complaints of drive by posting or not explaining your ideas.  then you also get the mass reports from people who should have never left their safespace,  so the person is soon banned.

this atmosphere became rather obvious rather quickly,  and anyone who likes their gaf account for the gaming side learned this and just knows to stay out of that stuff if they hold an opiniom contrary to the hive mind

Reading this reminded me of this scene from Boondocks:

the-pi-guy

"Punch the guy in the face"

"I like to grab women by the p***y"

"I haven't paid taxes in almost 20 years"

"The 2nd Amendment people should do something about Hillary"

"You know, it really doesn't matter what the media write as long as you've got a young, and beautiful, piece of dog."

"I love war"

"All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected."

"And you can go tell them to go f**k themselves"

"John McCain was captured. I like people weren't captured"

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."

"I think I'm much more competent than all of them. I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time."

"I think — I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me."

"I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They'd be carried out on a stretcher, folks."

"I know more about ISIS than the Generals do"

"All I know is what's on the Internet."

I watched that yesterday. i dont agree with everything he said. the only real good to come out of that episode was pointing out reliable news sources. maybe people will stop quoting battleship news

Personally, my 2016 was great. whos sitting  in the white house doesn't have  an effect on my life right now, and i have my doubts he'll have any with his time there .

This recount is stupid as shame.

The largest net difference a recount made was less than 1500 out of 6m votes. It's 2.5% of 1%. The average difference a recount makes is less than 300 votes.

Jill is obviously using the situation for personal gain.

Most common thing I see is "when it's so close... Why not verify the results."

Mother fudge maker,  it ain't close. The gap is nearly 10 times larger than a recount ever made with less votes. And they are verified. You want them reverified. Just because you don't like the results. If it were to just make sure why not recount some blue states like min and nm and NH.

Eh, there was some one claiming there was a hack because electronic votes didn't match paper votes.

Nothing was going to change, but Stein is using the recount to show that the process works.  (And probably because she doesn't understand how it works).

This recount is like having a 2.28 mile race. The winner finishing 50 feet in front and the last place guy asking for a video review

There is no evidence of a hack. That's why the recount needs to be paid by jill and they can use the machines. She tried forcing a hand count and the judge said no

BTW - after day one, trump loses 2 votes. Clinton loses one. Stien picks up 7.
