Easily has at least 600m left in it, especially with China remaining
Most impressive.

So its still some way off Avatar, Sunday turned out to be very disappointing and its lowest day so far. Looks like the legs are starting to slow down a lot

It was never going to come close to Avatar.  That's a weird movie, that had crazy legs and really impressive ROW numbers.
Sunday is kinda interesting, it's literally the biggest drop in its entire history.  It was a bigger drop than day 1 to day 2.

I meant Domestically, I was thinking it might be able to pass it this weekend but its $20m behind it still.

Yeah, was it a one off or is it a sign of things to come?

I wonder how Star Wars can do on the inflation adjusted chart, its at #21 at the moment. Do we think it can pass Avatar's 837m inflation adjusted total? In fact, if it makes it to $845 it'll be the second best Star Wars film, just passing The Empire Strikes back. At the moment its still behind A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi and The Phantom Menace on the inflation adjusted chart.

I gotcha.  Not so far off though.

Like I said, tfa has the disadvantage of unfavorable conversion rates to dollars globally outside the US. Could maybe reach 2.5b+ if it wasn't for that

Who are you directing that at?

Large Sunday drop, yet day to day it's still ahead of Avatar.

Wonder if this Sunday is a fluke.

the-pi-guy

Im thinking fluke, Sunday is still going.  Still a chance!!!!!

Dr. Pezus

Yeah BOM is guessing Disney is being conservative with their estimate.

Mmm_fish_tacos

A lot of people have to go to back to work tomorrow. Could be the reason for the Sunday drop.

Don't think we really know if there will be a drop quite yet.
But yeah, that is possibility.
School and work will probably dip into what it would be doing.

Xevross

Sunday looks better now, its drop from Saturday was lower than all the others in the top 10

Dr. Pezus

Weekend actuals over $90m!

Biggest January weekend ever and it's its third weekend lulz

the-pi-guy

Woah, big drop.  It makes sense though.
Everyone is going back to work and school.

Wonder if it'll go back up this weekend.
