So I watched the Force Awakens even though I haven't watch the Star Wars movies...

Have to say it was pretty entertaining. I mean I know the jist of Star Wars and whatnot so I didn't go in completely blind but it was a pretty good film. A couple weak points and I felt it was a tad bit similar to previous films but still worth a watch.

Also ended up seeing The Big Short. Great film as well. Well done comedy on a serious subject about the economic crash of 2008. I recommend it as well.

I've seen parts of it. For the most part I have seen the whole film just not from beginning to end.

From what I see most people didn't like how stupid everything tried to come together and how unbelievable it was

I just looked at imdb and saw 8.6, then I looked at rotten tomatoes and saw an audience score of 4.4 stars with 91% liking it. Seems like most people think its a great film.

The only flaw that bothered me was its similarity to IV, everything else that people mention is being exaggerated or can be easily explained.

why did the silver trooper have no problem lowering the shield to allow the obvious attack to destroy the death star BUT bigger!

Why can't critics be apart of the biggest and most rabid fan false?


I mean, Phantom menace, a movie that was garbage on all fronts except a nicely done fight scene at the end, has a hugely bloated score at 56%why can't we have a gta4 here that in a year everyone will say, "yeah, it wasn't that good and scored that high due to hype"

Things like that really depend on the next movies. Maybe episode 8 will come along and make her a rebel spy.<br><br>It&#39;s kinda stupid how the film gets free passes at the moment like this, but the film isn&#39;t a complete story. I absolutely hated the ending cliff hanger, yet that&#39;s only a temporary problem till episode 8 releases.<br>

Because she&#39;s selfish, didn&#39;t want to die and thought they were well protected anyway because they&#39;d just destroyed the republic and its fleet?<br><br>Loads of reasons tbh
