150 million 2nd weekend on its own, second week in full will probably be around $200 million.

Fastest to 300m, 3 days ahead of Jurassic World. :o
Good gravy. Nothing can stop this!

Should hit 400m after today.
Then the weekend should bump it up a bunch.

Xevross

Took $38.1m on Wednesday for $363m total Domestic. Overtook Furious 7's domestic total today too.

$765m worldwide now

Not a #1 Wednesday, but everything above it was released on a Wednesday.
About double what Jurassic World was that day.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Do we think Rey is Luke's daughter? It seems very likely, perhaps too likely.

Quote from: Legend on Dec 20, 2015, 09:25 PMI saw Star Wars. No Uncharted or Elite trailers :(

Spoiler free impressions

Spoiler for Hidden:
Liked it a lot, but the ending was a dud. Really needed another half hour instead of ending with a cliffhanger.

Loved the characters and loved the action.

Minor Minor Spoiler impressions
Spoiler for Hidden:
Needed less Lea and more Luke.

Plot Spoiler impressions
Spoiler for Hidden:
Also needed an original plot. Death star's introduction and destruction could have been great if it was a minor element, not THE ENTIRE PLOT! Really fell flat and was really stupid to do it a third time around. Can't believe the movie was so great despite this shortcoming.
I agree with the spoilers.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Yeah, I can't believe they did a death star plot for the 3rd time. Yet again they had to destroy it before they got blown up by a big laser. And yet again the death star got completely destroyed by attacking just one part of it with explosives

Apart from that great plot.
Apart from that great plot.

Thought it was alright the first two times around.

But the "it's a death star, only bigger!!!!!!! was just really?
But yeah, it was great aside from that.
At the movie, I saw the independence day 2 trailer, Uncharted 4 trailer and there was a trailer called the Secret Life of Pets that seemed interesting.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens $363,460,329
Jurassic World Uni. $278,389,075

Star Wars is absolutely crushing number 2.

Spoiler for Hidden:
I honestly thought at that moment the movie was poking fun at the original and was about to steer the plot in a completely different direction.

NOPE!
Quote from: Legend on Dec 25, 2015, 03:59 AMAlready in the US its legs are no Avatar.
Nah.
Yeah, I mean Avatar had great legs.
Look at them percentages. Avatar went up 11% second Saturday over the first.

Spoiler for Hidden:
But really, Avatar only made $125m at this point. The only thing it had were legs.
It never even broke $30m in 1 day. Meanwhile Star Wars hasn't been under $30m.
NOPE!
Spoiler for Hidden:
I can kind of understand it. It's supposed to be like this crazy gigantic planet sized planet destroyer.

But really they should try going in the other direction just once.
Make a plot about a really tiny weapon capable of destroying a planet.
