We know that cumulative sales are definitely above 150K. If we take REQ points, Halo 5 controllers, microtransactions, etc. out of the equation, then the maximum would be around 190K. I had the physical version at £40 and the digital version at £45. The physical version accounted to £6 million which leaves £1.7 million. Assuming the digital game accounts for all the rest, then about 40K digital copies have been sold.

Average price will definitely be higher than £45 since special editions will have an abnormally high percentage of sales for day one. Plus we really have no clue what's counting towards this number. REQ points, Halo 5 controllers, etc.

Yeah I know, I just made a very rough guess of what I thought day 1 sales might be. I reckon realistically it was under 150k with digital included... since 150k was retail for the week then digital must have been a healthy amount but obviously this proves its not extremely high

I guess for people expecting huge digital, your analysis is pretty beneficial.

Considering that it took a while to get Ms spin in the form of comparing Halo revenue to a new movie and it still wasn't that impressive.... And Ms is still silent with NA figures.... I'd say it won't be groundbreaking impressive

Which isn't close to GTA and is about what COD achieves. Halo performed way worse than Destiny and many other big AAA games too. Its not going to be one of gaming's major franchises in the UK anymore that's for sure

Hehe, someone claimed that digital was huge, and that NPD was worthless.  EA said that over 70% of games were sold digital.  That was during the 24.5m XB youtube video.

The lack of Microsoft PR regarding Halo 5 is rather surprising.
