Quote from: ethomaz on Oct 23, 2015, 11:26 AMSo Xbox One tanked in sales... maybe they now are selling the overshipment made since last holiday.
We all no how Microsoft like channel stuffing meaning their shipments are usually poor except at the holiday.

With people this quarter likely holding off for another firesale I'd say they really struggled to shift many new units to stores because their already bloated stock wasn't shifting.

So new sales in the latest quarter (shipments)  could have been tiny.

Obviously they'll shift a respectable number next quarter so we probably should get numbers in their next report at least.

Honestly though apart from the holiday quarter or future quarters that feature a heavy pricecut or slim xbox releasing we'll likely only get fiscal year shipments from now on.

The good news is their fiscal year ends next quarter.

Oh btw guys, 17% revenue was down on the 2.4 million of last year. So about 2m is likely.

I'd guess XB1 is close to 16m now then

2.4 was 360+XBO right?

360 maybe did .8 last year and .4 this year, which puts XBO at 1.6 last year and ~1.67 this year. Bold values are assuming 360 did 50% less shipments.

So more or less regardless of the exact numbers, XBO is pretty flat YOY.

Basically, the US is doing all the legwork to keep the XBO from being down YOY, though the XBO may actually be down YOY after the holidays.

Yeah, just behind the PS3 at the same timeframe (PS3 was 16.5m)

Except 360 is cheaper and dropped more than xb1 which means total sales dropped by more than 17%

Yeah but there's no way to tell exactly. It'll probably be under 2m but not by too much

Check my chart.

Also XBO is $50 cheaper than last year.

So it's very unlikely to be above 2 million.

Yeah I think combined will be 1.8-2million, I'd guess Xb1 did about 1.5million

What was the XBO's estimated shipment numbers up to Q2 2015? I think it was somewhere between 14-14.5 million.
