What's even scarier? That much was shipped without the price cut in effect.

And the fact that PS4 might have tripled XBO shipments in the previous quarter.

Holiday Quarter will be insane. with a price cut and the CoD and BF bundles sony can ship 7m+. if they have a great black friday deal then i think they can reach 8 million. man, if only uncharted wasnt delayed.

Incredible shipment. I'm actually glad uncharted 4 is delayed because it really doesn't need it this quarter. Instead the start of the year is epic and it'll keep the hype train going all the way until e3. Which will keep it going until the big releases second half of 2016. Nothing stops this snow ball effect.

Once again, its extremely likely PS4 outshipped xbox and nintendo combined. Also, according to VGChartz there's 2.8 million on the shelf... I think some wee adjustments need to be made

Significantly, after revising their PS4 forecast up by 500k last quarter, they just increased their forecast again but by 1 million. They now expect to ship 17.5m PS4s this FY taking it to a total of 39.8 million by the end of March 2016. Insane.

Almost 5m ahead of PS2...
