Yeah, there is nothing to suggest it didn't do well when all you can infer is the best selling version is the number one and more than 150k

And if you add the ps3 together than that's probably number 2.

Mgs4 in 2008 sold less than 500k FW and considering that was hyped up to the wazoo I can't understand the fanboys on chartz and gaf trying to downplay it.

And some absolutely morons over on gaf.  The media create thread has become a hub for negative Nintendo fanboys.  

They all think the ps4 will only last 5 or 6 years and that the console will sell 6 million or so.  

It will sell over 8 million easily and possibly over 10. And in 2023 you will still be able to buy a ps4 even though the PS5 will be out for a year or two.

I feel bad for that bluedog kid trying to talk a bit of sense over there.

With digital added to media create numbers metal gear solid 5 pretty much equals mgs4 and that's without pc too.  

Famitsu has it a lot higher,  470k so by their numbers plus digital you are seeing franchise growth.  

I'd also expect good legs and less second hand copies because the game is so long people won't be finished with it quick.  A lot of replayability too.  

Have to say I'm very happy with the numbers.  Ps4 demolishing last year's numbers despite the big launch week sales.

Yeah the xbox guys have all but dissappeared.

Nintendo fans are very bitter about Sony because they've dominated them for 3/4 gens.

The Wii allowed them to get some revenge so it's hard for them to take it when normal service resumes.  

I just find it hilarious all the hyper bole they come up with to try and throw the ps4 in with the Wii in the home consoles are dead bucket.  

In what could be the Wii u's peak Japan year the ps4 has sold over double ytd and at 399 along with nearly all its games being cross gen.

PS4 doing great. just imagine how big it will be once it gets a price cut and FF15 releases. whats left for PS4 this year in japan that will help boost sales. Persona 5 right? what else?
