Wow that ratio! Great start for MGS, PS4 domintates! Next gen fades away, those are tiny percentages. There's a heck of a lot of sequels this gen which are becoming the highest selling in their series.

Nice hold for Until Dawn too

Dr. Pezus

Really makes you wonder why they even bothered with the 360 version. At least the PS3 version will sell decently in Japan.

I wonder how close the PS4 can get to matching last September's performance with MGSV sales highly skewing towards it and TKK bundle.

Well I can see WW sales topping last year. Not sure about US though

Hey Stryke, sorry for not answering earlier (I just saw your PM too... I don't get many, so I don't always notice the yellow mail icon, heh.)
Until Dawn is kind of a weird one. It flew so under the radar basically up until launch, and then all the positive impressions started showing up and yes, I've had more than a few people mention PewDiePie when they picked up a copy. Even people I know that aren't into horror games have talked about getting it because of his and other youtubers playing it. One said "I want to play and make difference choices! I got so mad when he let someone I liked get killed."
So, undershipped? Kinda. We got copies in, and a lot of those copies have now sold, but it still isn't like, megaseller status for us. It's interesting that it has a lot of potential though, with people that aren't really big "gamers", so to speak, the more casual folks that like jump scares and horror seem to find it really appealing.
It has sold better than I anticipated, and we did get a refresh shipment on it in the stores of my district. Pewd is the best advertising the game is going to get. Hahah.

Just shows how stupid Nintendo have been.

One more sleep until we get the mgs5 media create.

And then not long until we have TGS to fill us in on release dates.

Will make it a lot easier to predict sales for the remaining months.

Except we still don't know if there'll be a price cut ;)

Tsutaya said sales tripled. They also said PS4 metal gear sales doubled PS3 sales and there were supply problems

Nintendo fanboy: I guess The Phantom Pain didn't do that great? A DQVIII remake SKU is just below 1 MGSV SKU, and we know DQ's second weeks tend to be extremely bad (more than 70% drop). The game did 600k or something FW, so it should be at 150k at best.

I know this is just from 1 store, but we know it's a PS focused store. Maybe this is a sign...

Lol

Lol, wat. So that means >150k for one of two MGSV PS4 SKUs and probably similar for the other one. Then the PS3 version probably sold close to 150k as well

Yeah, there is nothing to suggest it didn't do well when all you can infer is the best selling version is the number one and more than 150k

And if you add the ps3 together than that's probably number 2.

Oh dear... so who's the one that said this? Samus? Goodnightmoon? A Zero alt?
