Don't do it, unless you're only using it as a placeholder.

Even free games have to follow copyright laws.

If you can make sure the models are open source or have licensing allowing it, then even still I think it's best to not use them. You want your game to be one of a kind.

Well I didn't want to use anyone's finished models. As they don't match what I want to do artistically. But for example I found a low Polly horse that needs more work. So texturing and and rigging. By the time I'm done with it it it will basically be mine as it wont resemble the original work at all. And the license said I just have to add his name to the credits.

But my original plan was just to use them as place holders till I can model my own. I just want to get a game play demo as fast as I can and that will save me countless hours.

Not day one. I'll read other people's impressions on it before I decide.

I went ahead and reserved my copy. It will download to your PC and you can choose when you want to install it. I'm on windows 8 and while I've gotten use to it I can't help but to feel that windows 10 will be better no matter what.

well, i was going to but my computer cant handle to many ships and kerbals in eva so close at once..  then i was going to try to see how many i could leave stranded doing eva's on the moon.   that broke the game lol  i have managed to make a bus that can take 60 somethin kerbal into space and return them safely lol

but now i got a couple mods so i can make bigger and faster shame, so thatll tide me over for a while lol

Sorry lol im really hooked on it.. ill be doing something and a desigb will pop into my head lol I like that im onto mods cause I feel like some things I wanted to do are now possible lol

yea id upgrade if i could but to much other stuff to spend money on lol  this laptop really isnt meant for gaming

dang, I should have just bought the Wacom HD 13. . 4 times the price but might habe been worth it.

Z brush looks awesome. Something I think I would be better at than blender. But dang that price is ridiculous. It would be nice if they offered a home use license for a much better price. It's crazy what they think these programs are worth.
