Take with a grain of salt, since the original video has been made private by now, but Sony is going to hold a PS4 Pro event in London tomorrow to thursday which will supposedly feature a playable version of Days Gone as well as GT Sport and Nioh among others.

So it's a review event? Cool.

Something like that I guess. But I think we'll have to wait until next week before we'll actually hear about the things coming out of the event, I believe that's when the embargo will end.

Take this with a boatload of salt, but Verendus did mention about a Monster Hunter game going to the PS4 at some point.

Rorono

Most of that sounds like BS
except internal strife cause you don't need leaks for that, it's plastered in their proverbial face

I'd assume that's just some random dude on 4chan jumping on the fact that Capcom sort of hinted at the fact that Monster Hunter could be coming to consoles after their last earnings report.

Capcom wants Monster Hunter to be more popular in the west, because the sales ratio of the series is too Japan skewed for their liking and feel that handhelds are limiting the series over here. They are also specifically mentioning PS4 and Xbox One when talking about consoles in the west, so the speculation about a new Monster Hunter coming to PS4 has already started before. I'm assuming this guy is just jumping on that train.

Edit: Btw. not saying it's totally implausable, I can see Sony being pretty worried about the Switch in Japan and thus trying to keep some ground with specific third party deals.

Honestly, I'm sure Sony could release a "Vita 2" in Japan only sold at a profit and it'll work.  Or maybe they want consoles back to what they were in the PS2 era, if this is right.

As far as Monster Hunter goes, Sony would be better off buying of Dragon Quest 11 than Monster Hunter.  Monster Hunter is mostly damaged goods at this point; Capcom screwed that franchise outside of Japan with that 3DS deal.  Like Monster Hunter exclusive to PS4 isn't going to help it in Japan.  Dragon Quest will.

Little bit late to buy out DQ11.

Btw. there's a thread on the Capcom comments about trying to grow Monster Hunterd appeal in the west and even though the CEO talks about Capcoms strong sales expectations for both the PS4 and X1 (about 140-150 million combined iby 2020) in the same document, people are all assuming that Capcom has to be going with the Switch, which is freaking hilarious to me.

Reminds me of that one time there was a MH thread on the chertz with a bunch of people saying they wished the game was on Wii U and one guy saying he wished it was on PS4 and some bumb mod actually giving the PS4 guy a warning for that.

Monster Hunter WILL be on the Switch.  That's 3 million + sales Capcom doesn't want to lose.  I think Capcom finally realized there's another 3 million sales outside of Japan if they do it right.  They honestly should have put 4 on the PS4/Vita.  Would have saved them the hassle of scrambling to do it now.  At least if it was on the Vita, it would have cut dev costs to port it to the PS4.  Now they're going to have to make a PS4 version separate from the NS version.

About Dragon Quest, I think Nintendo still has a contract in place.  Doesn't make sense to skip the Vita when EVERY OTHER new Dragon Quest game is PS4/Vita/PC while the 3DS ONLY has numbered titles.

Oh I'm pretty sure MH will be on the Switch. What I mean however is that people assumed that MH will stay Nintendo exclusive, which is a theory that I disagree with going by the Capcom CEO comments. If they want to expand in the west then they'll have to move away from just Nintendo.
