Rapture looks cool
just read the comments section.  how people still don't get that 72 games for $60 isn't going to get them a AAA game every month is beyond me.  peoples expectations are wildly off and horribly entitled.

Rapture was great. Bought it at release.  Very different experience and personally think its worth playing through.

No, but one or two a year shouldn't be out of the realm.  Though Sony kinda trained that mindset with the PS3.  Arkham City, Arkham Asylum, Tomb Raider, etc.  It's been 3 years in the PS4's life and what, REmake is the "biggest" title they released on PS+?  They had Uncharted 3 and Infmaous 2 for like months on PS3.

NBA 2K16

Seriously, I hate this whole "they've only released crud in the last couple years" narrative when people don't even remember what has been on PS+ after 2-3 months.

that basketball game was a full retail release and frankly the worst thing on ps+ if you ask me.

the problem is some people view ps+ (a $60 a year (at full price) service) as a total and complete replacement for buying games.  they expect all the games that they want to be what is offered  to them and no games they don't want and they don't care if that game is valued at $60 on its own.  they still just want 6 full fledge and recent games that they want to play to be offered each month for their $5 a month paid.

it's a ridiculous expectation...

...especially coming off a gen where millions payed $60 a month for xbox live with no games at all.

every month i pay $5 for ps+.  i probably utilize on average at least $5 in discounts in ps+ sales anyways but i also get 6 games and generally at least 1 of them is worth playing to me and sometimes all of them are worth playing to me.  this is a fair price for the service provided.

While i agree with you, Sony set that expectation last gen with ps+. Ps3 got some really good aaa games. And this gen is old enough they could be giving some old ones once in awhile.

The other thing you're missing is the "Instant Game Collection".  Which was Little Big Planet, Uncharted 3, and Infamous 2.  That lasted until Tretton got fired.  So people expect "instant" games because it used to be offered.

Plus what @tacos said.

38 minutes of Horizon gameplay from Japan. Haven't watched it yet, so I'm not sure how much is actually new. Also it's from a NicoNico stream so the quality is pretty subpar, god knows why Japan hasn't made the switch to Twich or even better just Youtube streaming already.

Shocked!

NoooOoOoo!!! The March dream is dead...

But seriously, this is an important game that could score huge points in the holidays for Sony next year. For their sake (and for me as well, I really want to play this) I hope they hit that window.

Edit: Also I find it pretty amusing that Gaf is taking this as confirmation that God of War can't be a 2017 game. I mean, I'm not saying that there's not a very real possibility that it isn't, but how is this confirmation? TLG was also only shown at E3 last year (they had this reacting Trico screen on the showfloor at other events but that doesn't count imo) and still releases this year. Not being at PSX doesn't mean a 2017 date is impossible.

DerNebel

That's the kinda shame I hate about Gaf, some random dude makes a comment like this, which in itself sounds completely implausable, and you can't really do anything but wait for someone more reputable to confirm or deny the person as you have no way of actually checking the posting background of the original poster, to see if the comment might have merit, unless you have an account over there. This is made even worse by (some) people actually taking it seriously, as is the case here.

The E3 version was all smoke and mirrors. They are pretty much starting over from what I was told. 2017 will be a miracle.

To me this is completely illogical, but who fudgy knows with Sony nowadays.
