Forgot to sign up actually. Maybe there is a website like the scars website for honor had. I got my code that way.

If you find an extra second code, let me know. That game looks like it has some potential

What are your thoughts on the game?
Meh...Not really that hyped for it. The trailers/gameplay demo's have done nothing but I want to try the beta to get a better feel for it.
Legend made me remove this. Everybody riot.

Isn't Xenoblade, or whatever the Wii U's title was called, have like the biggest map ever?
When is the game coming out?  I didn't have cash on hand to pre-order it.
Nioh comes out next Tuesday.

Looks like the answer is yes. For one continuous map, Xenoblade Chronicles X was massive.

Pretty much the same here.

On paper the game should be interesting. Big open world, tactical gameplay, Stealth and action gameplay, riding helicopters, bikes and trucks in car chases.  But when it comes to execution, it just seems bland.

The story is basically a farcry rip off, american foreigners come to a country to fight a drug cartel/ gang members that have taken over. And the overall game just feels like a farcry rip off that takes itself too seriously and has no wild life.

Ubisoft loves making these big giant open worlds but they always end up feeling so bland and boring to move/explore around in.

Yeah my friend was saying they got beta codes for Wildlands but none of us were interested in taking his spares. The game has never really caught my eye.

I just finished Watch Dogs 2 today and I think the game did get better as it went along, and I liked the final mission but overall I'm super disappointed with it. I hate how the game didn't really have a story and it was just a menu of different missions to select from and when you completed one it didn't affect the open world in any way at all. When I started the final mission, the game warned me this was the final mission and I was totally shocked, there had been no build up and it really didn't feel like I was reaching the end. After all the build up it was a fairly lame ending as well but it was satisfying enough.

Nioh reviews are surprisingly good

Yeah nioh looks like it might be a surprise hit in reviews.  Might get it down the line when it's $30 or less.

Also if anyone doesn't have me on psn you can add me:  n_nod2012

I'm definitely hoping for name change as well cause I want something different than that.

How big the open world doesn't matter as much as how much variety it has and how alive it feels. A big empty open world is just boring.

Also variety in the world should be present. Farcry suffers this issue, there is a lot to do, but every part of the world feels so similar. For comparison RDR did a great job at this. Each location felt unique, and Rockstar managed to make it feel alive.

The quality of an open world really doesn't depend on its size.

Does anyone play bf1 anymore?
