So anyone ever played Prince of Persia The forgotten Sands?  What's your thoughts on it?

Played a few hours today.  Was frustrating getting used to it but I'm starting to like it now.

Anybody going to buy this Nathan Drake figure? It's looks very accurate... if you squint!!!

I turned automatic renewal for my PS Plus subscription off when I got it. Today I got an E-Mail from Playstation telling me that my PS+ subscription will soon be renewed, even though the automatic renewal is still turned off on my end.

I wrote support now, this better just be a mistake or some generic mail that they now decided to send to every PS+ subscriber, whose subscriptions is about to lapse.

You're quitting it too?  :o

I'm not quitting it (though I was never really on board with PS+ in the first place) I just like it to be my decision, if and when I get PS+ and not just have Sony take the money from my account. Especially considering that I got a 3 months subscription last time and that Sony would also extend the subscription in 3 month steps after that.

DerNebel

PS+ Japan just got a demo for Gravity Rush 2. They should bring that to the west as well.

No destiny review thread?

Prince of Persia The forgotten Sands complete.  Another game off the backlog.

Final rating 8/10. Very enjoyable.  Great game to get off ps plus this month.

Another one off the ps3 backlog.  I'll probably move onto Bioshock 2 or Jak and daxter 2 next.

I don't know why but I just realized something about next year. People have been saying that it doesn't matter if Sony push their games out of the holiday season and sure enough, they don't seem to have suffered for it up to this point, next year imo will be entirely different.

If they don't have any tentpole exclusives coming out holiday 2017, then they could really suffer for it considering that that will not only be the first holiday season of the NX as well as the Scorpio, both of which could turn into real, dangerous competition. You can't compete with that with another season of "hey buy our console for this multiplat", especially since the claim of having the best versions of multiplats will be void by that time. I think they'll need at least 2 big marquee titles in Q4 2017 to show people why the PS4 is a good option for them, like God of War or Spiderman for instance, ideally even more. If they can drown people in good exclusive titles in the second half of the year (which at least potentially they should be able to with Detroit, Dreams, Gran Turismo, Days Gone, God of War and Spiderman probably all aiming at a 2017 release window at the moment) they should be golden, so I really hope for Sonys sake that they'll sit down on their asses for once and work on not delaying half of their shame again.

God of war and spider man would be a good combination.

I don't think scorpio will compete with ps4 though.  It's going to be more expensive so it has no chance.

Who knows what kind of costs MS is willing to eat on that thing. Imagine the Scorpio launches at $450 or let alone $400 and Sony has another empty holiday season, MS' marketing slogans would almost write themselves at that point.

Sony having nothing next holiday season is them almost willingly handing over the key for the second half of the generation to MS, that's the point in this generation where they have to be there 100% to show people why they want to buy a PS4 or stick with the PS4 instead of going with Xbox. This mostly only applies to NA of course, but it's still extremely important.

Also another holiday season with no real big exclusive from Sony, because everything got delayed again would be beyond pathetic.

Sony can cut the Pro to $349 if needs be.  Sony exclusives are better off releasing outside the packed holiday line up anyway.

Also, PSVR might get a pricecut by next holiday season. By that time, PSVR will already have a solid lineup while the Scorpio will be starting from square one. It also doesn't help that there is that recent controversy surrounding Luckey.

I still agree with DerNebel, though. Sony really needs to have a good holiday lineup for next year to make the point that software is king.

PSN is having an animation flash sale right now. I got SAO Re:Hollow Fragment for $5.

Been playing a lot of star wars battlefront season pass lately.  The death star expansion and plenty of bespin expansion too.  Very fun.  The death star expansion is mind blowing in graphics and presentation.  So much fun.
