It's annoying though, even if it's just a month.

So in other words, Sony has guaranteed a win for April NPD and will probably see higher sales that month than usual. This could also have a negative effect on Quantum Break sales for its release month.

It also gives Street Fighter V some breathing room.

Quantum Break isn't going to sell impressive numbers anyway, but I think it will be largely unaffected by this

I'm not expecting it to sell much either.

I don't know man, I've been thinking, are Sony really that bad at keeping deadlines (cause these delays for Sony published games have become pretty dang common) or do they simply not feel pressured because of the performance of the PS4 and thus want to make the games as perfect as they can be? I mean their first couple games this generation haven't exactly gotten a stellar reception, aside from Bloodborne, so maybe they want to focus on making really freaking brilliant games over meeting planned release dates.

I guess that would be good from a consumers perspective, but dang these delays are starting to get more than a little annoying, spend that extra money earlier in development to get more people in on the project or something before this happens, will you?

Killer Instinct, Forza 5, The Master Chief Collection. All games that should have been delayed but weren't and they paid the price for it.

I'm getting really good vibes with Uncharted 4's delays.

Uncharted 3 had the least polish of recent ND games, and also was missing a lot of features that were standard for the series. ND have gone on record saying they couldn't miss the 11/1/11 deadline so the game shipped as it was.

The Last of Us was ND's first game to ever be delayed, and that certainly worked out for the better.

I legitimately don't give a dang about what should have been delayed by MS, what I do give a dang about is if I'll be able to play Horizon next year or TLG or Gravity Rush 2 (don't know if that's even announced for 2016 though), will NMS actually come out in June or is that going to be delayed again? When will I finally be able to play Rime? And (even though this isn't Sony) will I be able to freaking play Persona 5 before next Christmas, cause if not I'll start learning freaking japanese ro some shame.

That's the optimistic way of looking at it and I certainly want to be optimistic as well but I'm starting to get so dang impatient with all these games I want to play being delayed or just generally still being very far from launching.

Dude, chill out. My point is that those games, regardless of their platform, should have been delayed to improve the experience. Instead, they were rushed out to meet a deadline and we saw the result. Better that Sony get a reputation as a company that is willing to hold a game back until it's up to standards than a reputation for shoving broken or subpar titles out to meet a deadline when a delay cold have made the game amazing from Day 1. You're overreacting to this.

Rorono

Maybe more people will buy GRR and R&C now, to play until U4

/Wishful thinking, it'll be B-teamSouls

It'll also give other 3rd party exclusives some breathing room, too.
