Yeah, and if I cut a corner cause I'm about to crash into a wall, I shouldn't be penalized for it. It's a time trial, I'm doing what I need to do to hit the time target.

They don't. The game purposely slows you down because you're not driving the way the devs want you to.

I am not seeing it.
Offroad it slows you down a bit. (Much less than GT4 did. But it does a tiny bit. That's expected, it gets bumpy.)
Haven't seen any slowing down aside from that.
If anything the game doesn't really penalize that much. I flipped a car just now, and it didn't have a very big impact on speed. I bumped it off the side of the track, barely slowed down.

The corner cutting penalties are slightly annoying but I'm glad they're there. You're supposed to drive on the road, if they weren't there then getting the best times wouldn't be down to perfecting corners, it'll be down to working out where you can cut out parts of the track. I wouldn't like that.

So you're annoyed because the devs want you to stay on the road in a game where you're supposed to drive on roads? Cool.

No, the problem is when I am on the road, or have to slow down to a crawl to make a turn to stay on the road, and then get hit with a penalty for it. The corner cutting, isn't driving off road, it's not making the corners the way devs want you to. That's bad game design no matter how you slice it. Can you imagine a game that makes you restart a boss battle because you didn't kill it by hitting it in the head? This is the same principal.

I honestly can't think what you're talking about. In all the time I've played the game I've never had that problem. I've only ever gotten a corner penalty if I left the road

So I've just gotten the driveclub platinum! So bloody proud :DDDDD

I've gotten every trophy for all the DLC too except AMG one which I'm just starting. Only 1 trophy for the bikes platinum left now.

BTW der Nobel you're just not good enough at the game. When I first started the dlc packs I never got all stars. I might have gotten on average 30/45 for the first 8. But then I went back and tried to get the ones I missed and all of a sudden I could . Just work your way through them and don't worry about getting all stars first time around.

It's more like requiring you to hit a boss a certain way to kill him faster, with other ways not working as well. This is really common, even in Bloodborne

If i was good enough when I started playing I'd be the same as you.

I'm now level 69 and pro level 9. In the top 12k in the world too. Happy with that!

Wow Xevross I'm just after re doing one of the last skill challenges on the bike tour.

I went from like 8k in the world to 149 with 18,818 points. But what's #148? You with 19,342 points lmao!!

Its really easy to get fame now, since they increased the accolade caps to level 10 instead of 5.

I played for an hour yesterday and got about 6 million fame from levelling up accolades. I'm nto sure how much fame I'd have now if I wasn't stuck at the level cap for ages but I know it'd be a lot more
