for fudges sake nintendo stop with these stupid gimmicky games and actually make some games with depth. this is Nintendo's take on a Melee game. For Honor is Ubisofts take on a Melee game. compare the two.

I don't think so.

It's much more like a Wii game with motion replacing buttons. You "punch" and that arm fires. Twist the joycon to aim that arm. Twist both joycons to move left and right. Could super easily remap the controls to just physical buttons without changing the game.

I'd much prefer a game like The Fight that actually needed motion tracking for gameplay.

It's something I would try for the hilarity of it, but that's it...

Legend

YES!!!
ARMS motion control confirmed to be optional : nintendo

So this could actually be a pretty good game like Splatoon.

Legend

New fighter confirmed.

Wow switch can't do 4 player, that's crazy.

Should hopefully support 8 joycons sometime.

You serious?   Cause I wouldn't have minded picking up a switch down the line if they made the aforementioned boardgames and party games.  2 player only is ... I don't actually have words.
