all you really need is a decent gun in order to farm. once you pass level 9 it really works. chaning the difficulty to match your level as close as you can i important to, as for me it seems to increase drop rate.

the games drops are all random generation it seems, so a location where you kill lots and can do it over and over is perfect. item drops carry over for when you fail, so you cant loose anything. there are a few spots where a large number of enemy will come at you, and aslong as you keep dieing they will keep coming at you lol like on the moon temple of crota. they open the door and hive come charging at you. you kill as many as you can, only focusing on the ones coming straight at you. the rest will go behind you and kill you setting you up to do it again. trying to kill the others slows down how much you are killing lol

if you kill 1000, youll get 4-5 engrams. lol the kills ad up fast. can do 2000-2500 an hour
