This is from the Beta... there are only one Skill locked (that I guess it is the Illuminate that you need to fill all the others to unlock).

The first four columns I got everything and I was almost getting to the finishing the second and starting the third level in the last skills.

the bubbles stopped filling up at a certain point etho... you couldn't have gotten those skills in the beta

You can change the skills within the subclasses, yes. That tree shows the diff skills horizontally and the different variations of it vertically (I think)

lol, i was obsessed with WoW for a long time.  maybe i'm wrong but destiny just gives off that vibe that says i'm going to sink a lot of time here.

thats weird,   maybe mine glitched or iced up.   

I think it works like that but I'm not sure... eg. granades.

- Use Vortex Grenade to level up Scatter Grenade
- Use Scatter Grenade to level up Scatter Grenade

The others seems to work like that... the Nova I start to use it a lot faster after use some gears that give you % power... so I used all the time.

hmm ill have to check into that, but for me they still wouldnt increase even it i was using the one just before it.   im sure we will learn more once the game is officially out

those skills were locked you could only get XP to a certain point period. That included levelling up the skills as well...
