all well and good but you guys might hate me if i step away from the controller in the middle of an encounter.   i hate to be like that but when my kid is crying i gotta do what i gotta do.  i pretty much put killzone down because of my kid since i almost never got to the end of a map without having to leave for at least a while.
lol well we're all cool guys so maybe not! We should at least try it once to see if it could work out

Im not sure if im good leader quality,  but i certainly wanna be in this.   strikes/raids/crucible.  everything!

my first character will certainly be a hunter.
Neither am I! I think the leader should be someone who will play the game a lot too (obviously)

True but it would be good to have a clan setup before we start. Then again, the leader may not be important at all!

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not even sure what the benefits of making a clan are!

we should sorta just set up a group to play together.   A place for us to see who will be on when and organize times to all get on and do raids.  especially if we are going to need 6

the benefit is to not play with a pug.  pugs never go well especially when the encounter requires even a tiny amount of intelligence and communication.

True that but I mean benefit over, say, arranging games on here

the strikes arent so bad,  i had a few shame teams but the strike in the beta could even be done by yourself if you have some backup ammo packs

anyone else disappointed with the class system?   i'm probably way behind on this discussion since i skipped the beta but i was just reading up on them and i don't like that the class doesn't play a significant role in the way i play.  typically i'd pick the warlock but his abilities sound kind of lame.  how is the titan's defender ability because that sounds cool to me.

...anyone think there will be more classes over time?

I don't think there'll be more. I didn't get as much satisfaction from Warlock abilities as I did Hunter's that's for sure. I think the only things that set them apart for different roles is that Warlock have the lightest armour, while Titan's have heaviest (defence wise) also, Titan's abilities are more suited to being closer to the enemy while Hunter's seem to be what work best from far away. (just what I gathered from the beta, with a lot of skills locked)

DD_Bwest

skills were locked and we never even got to touch the sub classes.   lots still to be discovered.
