I'm confused,  what's the difference between reddit, neogaf, and vgc and how come it's okay to call battleship on gaffers and drag them into topics but not vgc? This is the kind of battleship double standard that vgc had which was terrible and inconsistent
I think the big thing is that vgc is talked about a lot more than the other two places

How come it's okay to call patcher a moron, the answer is because he is, who is a online personality but it isn't okay to call anyone else?

That's actually a point torillian made. It's okay to call Gabe a fat tub of lard and Adam Orth a fudge lard... But not sales, LudicrousSpeed or sting

thats not true at all though. How many times have any one of us called battleship on reviewers? Look no further than Driveclub. Every month we take for granted GAF npd leaks and talk about aquamarine and cream and sugar for days. Anytime CBOAT says something it's talked about. Along with other gaffers I can't think of their names.

Let's use this thread for the order.

In a few minutes I'll finish up a new thread dedicated to this.

It's all covered in our rules though:

"Insults: Do not severely insult people. This includes forum members and non forum members. Celebrities and well known public figures however are exempt. General jabs and the like are usually ok."

"Baiting and Provoking: Never purposely try to get another user to break the rules."

And most important our mantra:

"Be constructive, respectful, and welcoming. Above all else, do what you can to be a positive influence on the community."

Our ruleset is clear about forum members and non forum members. And just to add thats not what happened here, some of the people who were insulted are indeed forum members. Also when referencing other sites and forums theres usually a reason and context, legend made this point pretty clear in his prev post about this. When we are talking about Vgchartz it ends up simply being a bash fest directed at specific users on that site and sometimes users on this site as well.

The problem is when you're being specific about a user.
It's one thing to say "lol VGChertz's numbers"
But it's an entirely different thing when we're talking about Kowen, a specific user on the site that only people who have had experience with the site and its users know about.  If you look at Gaf or any other site, they may trash VGChertz numbers of even vaguely talk about a user, like "Oh some people are such hypocrites, they love the QTEs of Blank, but The Order which has only a few is apparently trash, ridiculous!"
But how often are you going to see "Oh look Kowen's doing his thing again." on Neogaf?
Sales, Kowen, Sting, etc. are not "celebrities" in any sense, they are posters just like us.  While Gabe and Orth are quite widely known, they are celebrities, and they are discussed whether you are on VGC, GAF, VizionEck, IGN.
While Kowen, Sales, etc are only known to VGC and VizionEck for the most part.

So please don't post specific posts (and maybe threads too?) and don't bring up specific people.

I will respond to that comment in the other thread because I disagree with it.

Can we move all the off topic posts to the other thread?

Has RAD released anything on the game recently?

this (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/02/05/bringing-the-order-1886-to-life/) was posted just today.  it's actually posted in this thread not that you'd notice with all the derailing that went on.  is it too soon to make fun by alluding to the train wreck that happened in new york yesterday?
