The first place it was up was the Official PlayStation YT Channel... after some minutes in Official PlayStation Facebook... and after some hours in Xbox channel.

And remember that when MS have the marketing deal it didn't show up in the PlayStation channels... none of them.

No it's only on "SonyPlayStation," which is PlayStation UK. It is not on "PlayStation" youtube or facebook.

When Microsoft had the marketing deal for Modern Warfare, "PlayStation" still got all of the videos.

Checking twitter, XBOX is the only one to tweet about the video. I'd bet any of yall XBOX has the marketing, not Sony.

that thread was horrible.   i get that the marketing exclusiveness is important.   ..especially the implication of ms losing their timed exclusive dlc.

...i just don't care.  i've never played a CoD and BOIII won't be my first.  marketing rights do nothing to change what i play.  the only reason to be investing in this outcome is to be a hardware sales cheerleader.   it doesn't change either side's library or amount of fun someone can have playing the game.  maybe i'm just getting old or perhaps jaded but threads like that make me want to quit the internet.
Yeah, like I said in the other thread on here I'm more annoyed at the thought of 10 minutes of CoD appearing at the Sony conference, to me personally this isn't relevant at all, even if I understand the significance this would have for Sony. But to some the console wars are just that important. :D

Am I the only one who thinks that neither Sony nor Microsoft will have a marketing deal for Black Ops 3?

Every big game has a marketing deal. You think after the commercial airs on TV, it's not going to have either system logo?

It's to a degree definitely going to be interesting to see what's going to happen with this CoD, I wonder if the people that downplayed the whole thing just now (the chertz thread got locked btw., no wonder it was an extremely pathetic showing by certain users) are going to hype it up, if it's confirmed for Xbox after all and vice versa.
can you link the thread?

Actually it does change things for CoD fans. They won't have to wait as long for DLC

Yeap but not exclusive marketing deal... I think Activision will allow both companies to market the game this time.

And no more 1 month DLC exclusivity is a big deal.

Lol, you think Activision is going to fund the marketing themselves?

Yeah getting day and date DLC would be significant.

Also, anyone want to bet 1,000 credits with me? I say Microsoft has the marketing rights.

No... more like both (Sony / Microsoft) will market its version of the game... no exclusive marketing.

They always can. Even with Destiny Microsoft could market the game, they just couldn't market the game outside of the xbox ecosystem.

MS couldn't market the game in any place on the internet (like YT, FB, etc channels) but they could market in the Live Store to sell the game...

What they did was to market a perfume in the internet lol it was a nice ideia to avoid the exclusive contract.

Yeah I remember the perfume, but it was more of a joke. Xbox.com, xbox store, xbox youtube, etc. all had Destiny ads.
