The channel I first saw the video on was sonyplaystation. That was before it went up on Xbox. Several people on Twitter noted this as well.

In fact, it was on Shinobi's twitter that I saw it first. He linked to the video. The channel was "sonyplaystation" and multiple people noted it wasn't on any Xbox channels at the time.

Who? Me? I'm just simply informing him that it did, in fact, arrive on PlayStation channels ahead of the Xbox channels.

Sonyplaystation is the uk channel. They are not the "playstation" channel. Due to different timezones, videos go up on the uk channel sometimes at different times. I'd bet they accidentally put it up early.

Since the video is not on the main playstation channel, the most official one, then it's silly to think it implies marketing rights.

It's to a degree definitely going to be interesting to see what's going to happen with this CoD, I wonder if the people that downplayed the whole thing just now (the chertz thread got locked btw., no wonder it was an extremely pathetic showing by certain users) are going to hype it up, if it's confirmed for Xbox after all and vice versa.

The first place it was up was the Official PlayStation YT Channel... after some minutes in Official PlayStation Facebook... and after some hours in Xbox channel.

And remember that when MS have the marketing deal it didn't show up in the PlayStation channels... none of them.

that thread was horrible.   i get that the marketing exclusiveness is important.   ..especially the implication of ms losing their timed exclusive dlc.


...i just don't care.  i've never played a CoD and BOIII won't be my first.  marketing rights do nothing to change what i play.  the only reason to be investing in this outcome is to be a hardware sales cheerleader.   it doesn't change either side's library or amount of fun someone can have playing the game.  maybe i'm just getting old or perhaps jaded but threads like that make me want to quit the internet.
