Yeah I'd like for us to move out of this vgchartz focused stage, but really that'll just take time.

In a month or two, hopefully most users here will have grown tired of reading the chartz and looking for issues. Also in a bit the marketing campaign on my game will pick up. That'll help get new users that never heard of vgchartz.

Indeed. It's good to start off like this with a few people switching sites and others posting on both, but eventually they'll come a time when that won't be enough and people need to forget about the ties with VGC and move on independently, attracting more users. I hope so because you've done a pretty good job here!

Looking forward to seeing the marketing ramp up as well :-)

I think you're overestimating a little here. Getting a small pool of people from VGC (say 40-50) is a reasonable assumption but more than that is unlikely. As I said there should be a point soon where if the site is to grow and flourish people stop talking about VGC and instead move on to making the forums an attractive place for new users unrelated with VGC to visit. I agree with Legend, that'll likely coincide with a larger marketing push.

Just don't see much good coming from these little digs and comments about users, policies and threads over there when this is a separate forum.

Problem is that we can't contact them when they're banned so...lol. Well, unless we know them better and have them on Steam/FB/PSN/Origin etc.

That's a big issue in the site... the is no open channel to talk with the mods... I needed to be friend with Axum to start to question the reasons behind my bans... one time they accused me to created a alt account to troll MUGEN I guess.

I just created three alt accounts in the site to talk with the mod team... after that I aways asked to block the alt acounts: unfairban, unfairban2 and seabid (same letters than biased).

Even the email in the About go to nobody.

I'm fine with what Riderz is doing because he is free to do that... if he want to do that then he can do that... I don't see issue... it is like a guy in the forum talking everytime about Titanfall.

If you ask if I will post that? No.. I won't.. but I won't say that I fell embarrassed if other guy do that because people are different persons... I'm fine with that.

It is like if I say "I like rocks" then somebody came and say "I feel embarrassed for you".

No, that's not what I mean.  It's not embarrassing that he did that.  But he is overdoing it. 

Like say this guy killed someone, and then he plays it off.  But in this case, he is overdoing that you start to think that he did it just from how he is acting.  Like he starts screaming "I DIDN'T KILL ANYONE!"  He is just overdoing it, and he just looks silly. 

Like he just looks suspicious.  Or say if you had a kid.  And you tell them not to eat the last cookie, and you come back and the first thing they say is "I didn't eat the cookie!"  Even when they obviously didn't.

Helping the forum or game get recognised isnt a bad thing, but there IS a difference between being a shill and helping the forum get recognised
