craziness ensued in this topic... the karma could have been a neat feature, but abusing it should also come with consequence...  like spamming karma points should have a detrimental effect on one's own karma... I hate that many things only have a up vote option rather than -1 or thumbs down

Well I just think the like button works better than like/dislike... we don't need to see people disliking us... just liking... it is positive and make the person better and happy
