Over reaction on the chartz about losing 4 exclusives.

H1Z1, Everquest, and PlanetSide. What's the fourth?

and PlanetSide 2 is taking forever. All of their other games coming to PS4 will take years yet since SOE has already said they're focusing on PC versions.
now imagine them developing for a whole 'nother console. Will take forever for XBO to see any difference in this... Maybe not even till the end of the gen

DC online I assume they are including

DC Universe Online was mediocre. PlanetSide 2 will likely be on PS4 at least a year before an X1 version happens. H1Z1 and EverQuest Next haven't even completed development on PC. It'll be years before both of them are on consoles and H1Z1 isn't enjoying the best press right now. There is really nothing to be excited about on their end in regards to what this means for Sony negatively. The fact is SOE was bloat that Sony saw fit to sell so they could pursue other ventures and none of the games on that list were being treated as reasons to own a PS4. Even without them the PS4 still has more exclusives on the way that are getting more attention than X1 exclusives. The PS4 will continue to outsell the X1 without those games being exclusive just as it outsold the X1 when its savior Titanfall released.

But is it actually the PS guys overreacting or is it some Xbox dudes overreacting, from what I've seen the sentiment on the PS side of things is pretty much that people are indifferent towards it while a couple Xbox guys are trying pretty hard to make it look like the PS fanbase is damage controlling.

Edit: Yeah just checked the chartz again, it's mostly non PS guys trying to pass this off as a huge blow to the PS4 and/or even a sign of Sony going third party. People are having a field day, it's amazing how immature the discussion on the chartz can be sometimes.

It's amazing sometimes, honestly I don't like saying this but that community has a big fanboy problem (from all camps, let's be honest) that makes having a discussion involving one of the big three almost impossible at times.

Which is why I never attempt having a discussion over there. Its a much nicer place to debate things here :)

It really shouldn't bother PS4 fans at all considering that SOE was PC-only until PS4 launched and even then it was with DCUO, which not many people care about, and PlanetSide 2 is taking forever. All of their other games coming to PS4 will take years yet since SOE has already said they're focusing on PC versions. Let's be honest, most people buying a PS4 weren't doing it because of an SOE game. Hardly anyone I talked to about EverQuest Next even knew that game was going to consoles and MMORPG's are far more successful on PC. I don't even like playing Final Fantasy 14 on PS4 and the control scheme for it was actually done about as well as could be for a game that has a bunch of buttons you'd normally need a keyboard for.
Not true. They ported DCUO to PS3

I think it's pretty close to finished for now anyway, the banhammer has come down pretty hard in that thread.  ;D

Excuse the fudge out of me. Practically PC only. Getting really tired of having to be very particular with my words around here just so people like you can sleep at night.

Yeah this has a super minimal effect on PS4 and its momentum. Everquest Next however imo used to be a big bullet point. Back before PS4 launched I remember lots of ps4 vs xbo comparison lists having it towards the top.

Then everyone forgot/stopped caring about it lol. Man if EN launched last year on PC and PS4, it could have been pretty big for the system. But nope.
