I'm just kind of digging through announcements now,.. but what should i think?


..right now the only thing i can think of is that if IE is being retired and replaced with a new browser they just gave my company a shame-ton of unnecessary work to do since our web based product only official supports IE.

also i don't trust the "free" upgrade.  ms is, as always, telling half truths imo.

maybe i'm the matter isn't entirely clarified but what i'm reading is project spartan is ms's new (blantant copy of chrome) web browser and that IE will no longer be supported (like silverlight have half the shame ms introduces).   maybe it's just IE rebranded but it sounds like a reboot.

It's free so I'm happy. The real question, can I download a fresh install for my new machine. Also I'm very interested in their classes. But i feel much like Kinect their reveal video wont be what the real thing does.

Anyways, I'm not sure if I will upgrade my Desktop Win 7 to Win 10........but I will upgrade my 8.1 laptop to 10.

i can believe the window's stuff.  i feel like they are less likely to lie about windows.  that AR stuff and the minecraft thing feels like utter battleship to me though.  that feels exactly like the kinect reveal.

I know what you mean, but imagine if they can pull It off.
They also left the door wide open for Sony, as this will never be cheap enogh for a console. Sony going to be the only one with VR this gen.

I just got a new laptop with 8.1, so I'm glad 10 will be free. IE dying is sad, I used it to download chrome just yesterday
