Finally finished it.  A bit uneven, but still a decent game.

Frankly I think the worst part about the game, is how good it could be.

Well, the second half of the game was what it could be.  The first half was just so slow.

I thought what was there was very good, it just needed a lot more. Perhaps the environments could have been a bit better, a bit more open.

There was only really one point where the environment frustrated me.
But being more open would benefit the majority of the game.

I disagree, except the first half was too slow.

everything needs work, from story to gameplay to environment . also, they were talking about everything in the environments was a soft body, it surely didnt feel that way, most things felt static. i gave my review a few pages back.

What was bad about the second half?  It was pretty action packed.

It's about a lot more than action.

Again though, combat was good and strategic, story was coming together.  Other than a lack of set pieces, there's nothing to complain about that you can't say about other third person shooters.

Story wise, it could have been better.  There are lots of questions, many that a sequel should answer.  So that could be redeemed.

Gameplay wise. Like I've said the gameplay is actually great.  But it relies far too heavily on QTEs.  The QTEs range from being okay, to just being a pain.  (I actually think they could just update the game and remove all QTEs and that would make it a better game right there.)  Plus I feel it definitely needs more gameplay.  Some of the cutscenes should be gameplay too, to be honest.  Uncharted did some of those things. That would also make things feel more even gameplay wise.

Banana also complained about the Lycan fights.  I thought they were okay, but they could've been done better too.  They were almost tedious though.  Well, like they were okay, but they could've been great.  The fights were never something that I looked forward too.

Level design could be built on.  Also the game could use a multiplayer mode.  Actually keep the gameplay, take out the QTEs, and make a multiplayer out of it.  Would be sweet.

Lycan fights were mostly in the first half :P.  Though there's a weapon that has a stun as its secondary; makes those fights way easier.  I completely disagree about the QTEs, there's more in God of War, plus I think they did a bit more to innovate them where you have to look for them.  Something new (Not necessarily better).  Story wasn't anything special I agree, the the story telling was pretty good, voice acting was top notch.  Game doesn't need a multiplayer mode that isn't coop.  Too many games have multiplayer thrown in and its more or less garbage.  Would happen here I'd imagine (Though I can be wrong).
