The order got a photo mode today, I'll have to turn it on later and play around, but people seem to be doing some pretty cool stuff with it.

So I'm stuck at a part after the blimp.  There's a guy with a rail gun who spawns and insta kills me.  Is there a way to pick him off?  There's quite a bit of smokes surrounding him and when I go to aim he nails me.  Or do I just run through?

Yeah I went to the left and got a clear shot.   I was going through a barricade of sorts.

I'd say it's expected. 
Plus if this one had more pre-launch hype I'd say it's because it's the first that came out.  Bloodborne was probably a bit more weary due to the poor reception of this game.
