I remember when Epic was demoing Unreal 3 on PS3.  They were showing how the base of the game looks like a PS2 game, but all the shaders and fancy made it look "next gen"

RAD is pretty rad. The founders (Ru and Andrea) are actually meeting fans across events, even in very small countries/markets. Usually you'd expect lower level people to attend, maybe some leads I guess but not the big kahunas. That's cool.

1. It's jack the ripper.<br /><br />I mean he's only 2 years after 1886. Of course they'll figure out how to put him in the game. Just like how somehow tesla is in England for the game. The real question is how big is his involvement?<br /><br />And I'm only guessing. Haven't clicked the spoiler.

About .2 though... Erm, it's certainly interesting and my interest was as peaked (story wise) as Kate Upton's breasts, but some people are not going to like it. Though to be fair those are the same people that still think TLOU is an interactive movie and that ND are talentless hacks.

Even though i'm gonna spoiler tag this, keep in mind it's fairly safe to read cause it's only a general description of things and doesn't actually spoil anything specific. Think something like "slow then tense then combat then cutscene etc", no more details than that.

Spoiler for Hidden:

Regardless, the beggining of the game was very TLOU-esque. Tense situation with little gameplay (in TLOU prologue you do nothing but walk forward and 2 QTEs), transitioning into something calm, with a lot of walking and &quot;exploring&quot; buildings and the streets. It cut when it seemed like combat was about to begin. The uploader removed all his videos and did not upload any more. It's hard to get a proper grip on the pacing though because his footage was not entirely continuous. Each clip was missing something between each other. No idea what kind of criteria he chose with his recordings/uploads. He sure as heck wasn't trying to hide spoilers though.<br />

The ND influence is quite noticeable. As I have said before, the combat may be closer to Gears of War, but everything else about the game is ND-style "action/adventure".

The streets were sooooo detailed and good looking.
