I sometimes like to make up what I would regard the perfect Sony E3 conference for a given year, just for fun. Normally I'd do this closer to the actual event but since this thread is already here and since I'm kinda bored anyway, I might just as well do it.

For this I treat it as if Sony didn't have 3 other conferences to fill with announcements and I try to keep it at least in the realm of possibilities, so no Sony buys Nintendo or something, here I go.

The show starts with one of Sonys signature montages, highlighting successful released games and big announced games.

Shawn Layden takes the stage to do the introduction for the show with a little sales talk along the lines of "We at Playstation continue to be humbled by the amazing success of the PS4 and the amazing support by gamers around the globe it has gathered, helping it sell over 25 million units to customers since launch. And it is not only the hardware that has been an incredible success, the system has also spawned a wide variety of games that are played by gamers around the world (while he says that the screen behind him shows several games with their sales figures like TLOU:R: 5 mil, I:SS: 3 mil, Driveclub: 1,8 mil, The Order: 2,5 mil, Bloodborne: 1,6 mil).

For all this support we are thankful to each and every one of you and that is why we have decided to dedicate this show to you, the fans. So sit back and enjoy the next 2 hours full of games and nothing but games."

Shawn Layden leaves the stages and the Ratchet & Clank logo shows up on screen, we're finally seeing the reimagining of the first game that was announced 2014, it's a short gameplay demo played by some guys from Insomniac, meanwhile we are told that the game will be playable on the showfloor and that it will release in September alongside with the movie.

After R&C we hear a motor roaring followed by the Polyphony Digital logo, yes you guessed it, it's Gran Turismo 7. On its own nothing too surprising, people knew a new GT was coming sometime, but the thing that Kaz Yamauchi announces on stage does surprise people, the game actually has a release date and it's soon, yes GT 7 is Sonys second big game for the 2015 holidays, releasing mid November worldwide.

It's time for the game we've secretly known about for months that we now finally get to see in action for the first time, it's GG Mech-Dinosaur RPG Horizon, we are shown a 10 minute gameplay demo and are promised a release before next years E3, it looks like GG has successfully stepped away from Killzone.

After that we're shown a story/gameplay trailer for Sony Bends game, it's a third person open world scifi horror game, you're some dude stranded on a hostile planet trying to find a way to escape, the game is set for holiday 2016.

Now the digital only/indie segment starts, in a time frame of 10-15 minutes we get 2015 release dates for Rime, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the Witness, Abzu, the Tomorrow Children as well as couple new cool digital only projects announced. The segment ends with an announcement that WiLD will be playable on the showfloor and that it will release March 2016.

The third party segment starts with the first Star Wars Battlefront trailer, which Sony has got an exclusive marketing and DLC deal for.

After that SE shows another FF XV trailer and surprises everybody by announcing a release date and it's actually a worldwide November 2015 release.

This is followed by a new SF V trailer introducing a couple new characters, as well as a February 2016 release date, the game will also be playable on the showfloor.

Even Persona 5 gets its big moment at this conference, the game (which at this point is close to launching in Japan) gets an english gameplay trailer and a December release date for the US.

Sony now wishes to talk about a couple more 3rd party exclusive deals they have made, starting with a deal they've made with Sega, they announce a Valkyria Chronicles HD Collection for PS4 including the first 3 games, but that's not all, Valkyria Chronicles finally gets a 4th entry and it's exclusive to PS4.

Kojima time, he comes on stage and talks about the success of P.T. and then goes on to show a trailer for Silent Hills which ends with "Exclusive to PS4".

Finally the Level 5 game that has been teased months ago is finally revealed as well, a collaboration with Japan Studios, it's a vast open world RPG with the typical Level 5 charm, it gets a holiday 2015 release date for Japan and an april 2016 release date for the west.

Now to end this part Sony decides to announce something completely unexpected, the CD Project Red logo shows up and we're shown the first gameplay trailer for their new game Cyberpunk 2077, which is then announced exclusive to PS4 and PC.

And we're still not at the end of course, we've finally arrived at the thing a lot of people have been waiting for: new Uncharted 4 gameplay. We're shown an amazing 15 minute demo that will be playable on the showfloor and get a release date for October 2015.

Shawn Layden takes the stage one last time to close the show, but as should be a rule for every game conference ever he has one last thing to show, the room goes dark and the thing thought long lost finally shows its face again, it's The Last Guardian and it actually gets a release date for January 2016 on PS4. The crowd is ready to leave at this point, being completely blown away by what they've just witnessed these last 2 hours, but at the end of the obligatory closing montage we hear a voice saying "Wait you've forgot something" and a trailer for another long forgotten PS exclusive starts, Agent, the game is now of course PS4 exclusive and gets a Holiday 2016 release window.

With that the show is really over, some people are wheeping for their wallets, while others just refuse to believe that they are actually awake, 3 people wonder "but where was the Vita in all of this?"

Well writing that killed some time :D

Babababa these have at least been announced at some point during a Sony conference, you just gotta believe.

Half Life 3 being announced at all seems unlikely at this point (Valve just isn't in the business of making AAA retail games anymore) and it seems downright impossible for it to be announced at one of the console makers conferences.
