I just looked at Japan's numbers. I knew XB1 was doing horrific but didn't know totals. It will never pass ps4s first week. Might never pass 100k if MS doesn't do something fast to keep retailers stocking it.

I'm surprised at how well The Order is charting in Amazon UK, because of the price. It's more expensive than every other ps4 game o.o, it's basically a placeholder price that Amazon never bothered to correct.
It's probably gonna go down a bit before release and thus people will not be charged 50 quid for it, but still..

It keeps dropping! At this rate xbo could be at #30 by the end of the day!!!!

This quarter is going to be horrible for xbo compared to PS4. Microsoft pushed hard for the hollidays and took that victory, but now the sales have their natural post holliday drop plus bloodborn and the order to compete with.

The Order? You must be new to the internet. If not then you would have known some random guy on Reddit said it sucked. Even though what he actually said was that it was a solid Gears of War - like experience with little replayability thanks to no multiplayer and AI that acted dumb a lot. But hey, the limited criticisms of a random, anonymous dude on the Internet is all that's needed. 0/10.

All Ms did by making it seem the sales were temporary was push the sales it would have gotten sooner rather than later up. Not a bad strategy for short term. However, long term its obvious price wasnt really the factor. They have increased sales by the drop but probably only from the people already interested in it at a later date (which wasn't that much)
