But why ignore PC?  Because everyone has one?  It doesn't support other people's agendas?  That's what you're saying essentially (Or not, that's what I'm understanding).  Also by your reasoning, we should count PS2 exclusives that Sony funded, titles that wouldn't exist if Sony didn't fund them, but not PC exclusives?  We should just ignore War Craft, Guild Wars, Counter Strike, etc, because you want to?  I also tore your list apart.  There were exclusives for other platforms as well, I'm not ignoring that, I'm emphasizing that.  To say the PS2 had the majority of exclusives from western publishers is ignorant to say.  Also note, I'm talking publishers.  We tend to count, half the titles in that list, as second party because of the publishing aspect. Half those games, Sony funded.  The other half ended up on PC. Kinda like how we all counted Insomniac games as second party despite the company not being owned by Sony.  There is also no reason to ignore PC, just because PC multiplatform titles don't fit your arguments.  I also disagree with those other people ignoring PC ports as well (Not just you).  Same with Ultra.  I'm going to get the PS4 version when it comes out to play with a few friends.  I also have the PC version (Super, haven't upgraded to Ultra yet).  I bought that version to play with my cousin, should we pretend I didn't buy it?  If I sold my PS3 and didn't buy my PS4, I'd have my PC.  I shouldn't be allowed to keep my Super for PC and not buy Street Fighter 5 for PC because that would contradict your arguments?  There's lots of PC exclusives coming out recently, such as Dota 2.  Hell that's all my PC friends play now.  Those titles are exclusives, do they not count because they don't fit your arguments?  I'd also like to mention that Twisted Metal 2 and Jet Moto were multiplatform titles, even though Sony created those internally.

This is a console war argument that we're talking about. We're talking about people who basically ignore PC games. The PC doesn't have a place in the argument because it is a CONSOLE war argument. I KNOW that many of those games also came on PC. I KNOW that if you're talking about pure, 100% exclusives that there were very few Western third party exclusives. Especially in the 6th gen. Try to step outside of your own head. I am talking about this in regards to the kind of people who make these arguments. If you try to tell them a game was also on PC they won't care and no amount of your insistence that they should will change their minds. They're the same people ignoring the fact that SF5 is on PC. They. Don't. Care. Why? Because this is a console war argument. They don't care what a company ended up owning or how much money they put into it or how involved in its development they were. They will still try to say that it will ruin the industry by having third parties making games exclusively for a console that is not their choice platform. So when we start talking about "exclusives" within that frame the focus is on games only found on one console or another. Because that is when they start getting bitchy. That is where I am trying to show that third party exclusivity happened a lot in gens 5 and 6 yet the industry was not only healthy but continued to grow. I am arguing within the frame they are trying to argue in. Showing that they are wrong even within their own frame. Of course PC matters. I know that. You know that. I'm not ignoring anything. I look at it all the same way you do but for some reason you seem intent on lumping me in with them. I was assuming you knew where I was going with this. So when you decided to bring up Western exclusivity and decided to argue with me on it I was confused. I didn't realize at first that you were trying to argue within your own frame. This isn't about YOUR line of thinking. This is about proving them wrong with theirs. They want to focus only on consoles. So be it. You can beat them even within that frame. Then if they try to change the rules again and point out, as you did, that many of those games were also on PC then they just defeated themselves because then they HAVE to acknowledge that SF5 and Titanfall are also on PC.

The fact is, it's all barking because someone doesn't like that their preferred console isn't getting a game.
Yep, that's exactly it. Why anyone would think anything else is beyond me.
