Once they've built the one they'll be selling after it, haha.

I rather them have make a new retro form of the ipod classic :(

(Not gonna happen I know)

Hopefully once a new touch is made - storage will be over 120 GB.

Are touches still big sellers now that tablets exist?

Plox.

I rather have a mini music player than to lug around a tablet just to listen to music while I'm in transit to work/school ;(

(Although I plan to get my first tablet next year!)

Fairly big sellers, but we haven't had a new iPod Touch in 2 years.

But then don't you have a smartphone for that?

Not everyone wants a smart phone plan.

There was a 2 year difference between iPod Touch 4G and 5G.

Yeah, but that's an ever decreasing market. The people who do not want a smartphone nor want a tablet will on the whole be satisfied with the current itouch.

I says differently for I am one of those people.
Actually I do have a tablet, but I want a new iPod Touch as well.

2 years and a month, while ever other gen was one year exactly. Since it looks like they missed the boat on another September announcement, it's either coming in a year or never imo.
