(When) will Apple announce iPod Touch 6G?

I rather have a mini music player than to lug around a tablet just to listen to music while I'm in transit to work/school ;(

(Although I plan to get my first tablet next year!)

It's been phased out so that Apple can push their iwatch.

Unfortunately wasn't able to.
For you see what happened was that we had to make a project for 8th English for advertising and I made the iWatch and something happened and I didn't have a commercial made.  So instead I did it live for the teacher.  I used a stop watch as the prop.

Yes I do but - I dont listen to music or play games (anymore) on my iPhone - I use it for calls, browsing the interwebz and taking pictures/videos. (The last time I played a game was Hitman GO and it drained more than half of my battery during my 1 hr break at work >_>.

I want a dedicated music player (I still use my 120 GB iPod classic from 2008) and I want a iPad for gaming purposes

Of course I use the devices for more than 1 type of use - its just I wanna use each type of device for a certain use XD.

2 years and a month, while ever other gen was one year exactly. Since it looks like they missed the boat on another September announcement, it's either coming in a year or never imo.
