edit: i did 3 tonight, got 1 asc energy..  might take a while still.    only 660 more vanguard rep till rank 3 i thought the bounties refreshed an hour earlier than they do..  so ill have to do them tomorrow. that should get me super close

how do you find rare ships? im still in the moon though, and just finished one level lol. level 18 now, i keep playing crucible or exploring, loved that hive grave full of level 20's in the earth.

but bounties are only once a day. once your done then your left with strikes and patrols.   with a team of 3 spit up, you can do enough patrols to earn 400-800 an hour with this guys method

do patrols help with engrams? there is a lot to understand with this game lol. also, when your in a fire team do you all earn points from each other?

No kidding. The amount of polish this game has alone should make it worth a higher score than that. Add onto that the fact that it has a competent PvP mode, 15 to 20 hours worth of story to start, plenty to explore, cooperative missions and events, and a dang hard raid as the crown jewel of the PvE content and it becomes mind boggling how this game receives anything less than an 8. A little south of that would be understandable for the game as it was at launch but when you score a game like this THAT low you're basically someone who should not have been allowed to review it, or any other game, anyways.

what bugs me is people saying there is a lack of content, ok, people were expecting more, i get that, but you have a 10 hour story, strikes, high level strikes and at least one raid, which all adds up to around 15 hours at bare minimum. im ignoring patrols, exploring, fire teams, farming, and public events. then you also have PvP which is awesome, and they always add and remove modes every now and then. since when is 15 hours worth of content and a great multiplayer a game low on content? people are saying the gameplay is fantastic, ok, then why was titanfall reviewed much better? it just has a PvP with a few modes. Destiny provides those 15 hours worth of content i spoke of, with great gameplay as well. review system is iced up.

so i've been hoarding engrams for a while now.   ..now that i'm lvl 20 is there any reason to keep hoarding or should i blow them all?


also,. why doesn't the weekly strike have matchmaking?   how an i suppose farm rep/marks without matchmaking?!?

I have 22 hours so far and not a single piece of legendary gear. Seems like I still have aways to go before I truly max out. Most the reviews for this game are buckshit.

all the rare ships ive come across so far have been found in random chests, although during the beta i saw someone earn a legendary ship in the iron banner.

patrols dont really do much for engrams, but you are killing things so engrams cn drop.   this guys method though includes 1 person farming a cave during time one of the others are finishing a patrol.   but patrols do earn you vanguard rep, and from level 3 after you start getting decent stuff and you need to be level 3 to buy weapons.

from what i an tell hoarding them makes no difference.  I saved up close to 60 to do all at once for when i was not only level 20 but a really high cryptarch rank and it really didnt make a difference.

I heard joining a fraction was a good way to get legendary gear as you get 1-2 with each level.  I'll join one tonight. We'll see.
