Quote from: the-Pi-guy on Jul 08, 2025, 05:33 PMI think this might have made my first playthrough better. Not sure about other playthroughs.

But my first playthrough, the game felt really slow because I kept expecting that the other half of the story wouldn't be as big as the first half.
Me too. The game really needed to set expectations better.

I want sci fi!  :'(

BananaKing

Yeah shame it's not Sci-Fi or a new IP. But let's see. I wonder what it is. Saw some comments that people were hoping for an The Order 1886 sequel.... Honestly ... I wouldn't mind at all.

That sure would be unexpected. Doubt the ip is worth reviving though.

I think it'll be something from the 90s, a niche nugget to an otherwise origional world. Like Polygon Man.

Yeah most likely something in the PS1 or PS2 era.

Not sure how I feel about that tbh. But let's wait and see.

Horizon

I am gutted it's not a sci-fi IP but after learning more details i am very intrigued by it.

Schreier suggests that Sony is pushing back on putting their single player games on PC.

He seems to know something definitive about it, that he'll write about later.

But he apparently says this in the podcast.

QuoteJason: I do. I do and I mean even if they don't, we are seeing Wolverine is coming in September 15th, and that's not coming to PC its coming to PlayStation 5 only.

Kirk: You don't think that'll come to PC?

Jason. I wouldn't be surprised if it never came to PC, but even if it does you have a strong idea of what that is and that you need a PlayStation to play it at least for the indefinite future.

That's exactly how Sony handled Spider-Man 2. They said it was PS5 only, then 13 months later they announced it was coming to PC.
That was how I would expect Sony to handle Wolverine as well. I hope that there's something more definitive than "they're not working on it right now".
