Either they cancelled a game, or they are really close to releasing something new. I just assumed that Alanah was a writer for Ragnarok but instead she was a writer for something she can't mention.

we've known for a very long time that she was working on barlog's unannounced new IP.  it's been in the works for a very long time and afaik it has not been canceled.  SM has been relatively open about the existence of this new IP in job listings since about 2021.  not sure how much work was put into the game prior to that.

Would it be crazy if Corey's game releases this year?

Now people are talking about the next God of War being set in Egypt. I have no idea who the first leaker is but if they are starting to enter full production so more people know about the game, that would be great.

this year sounds crazy to me.  

intergalatic was just announced and no one is expecting it to release this year.  i hear next year without certainty.  now i have certainly been talking up the benefit of a shorter marketing period and sony's been doing that for the most part.   ...but the games with the longest marketing periods are the games sony thinks are the most important games in their portfolio.  ...and i'd like to think corey's new IP is going to be an important game.


not sure how i feel about GoW egypt.   the norse games were amazing both in changing up the gameplay from the original trilogy to a really cool piviot on kratos as a personality.   not so sure that trick works a second time.   not so sure i want another game from GoW if the gameplay is iterative from the last game.

I think egypt feels too similar. Like we have already had sand and deserts in many gow games.

might as well go for the jugular then.  pick the middle east and the Muslim religion.  after killing all of the prophets the game will both depict and murder Allah starting world war III.

The christians in the west might be fine with people poking fun at Christianity. But we Muslims take our religion seriously. Even Christians in the middle east don't approve of the continues and shameful mockery of Christianity that happens in the west.

I think it's a terrible idea to use any active religious themes for GoW as it would be too offensive.   I would be opposed to the use of Christian themes too but the reaction from Muslims would likely be far bigger.

i've never watched rick and morty but i hear good things.  i heard good things about the games humor.   i thought the gameplay looked mid and was not willing to pay to play but i would play for free.   the worst that can happen is i hate the game and don't finish it.   ...but i do that will probably half the games i play these days.   the benefit/detriment of ps+ is am always thinking about the current game in context of what other game could i be playing now instead.

Fantastic month. Dont care about packman, but it saved me money on getting high on life. Which I always wanted to get. Also I'd like to try payday

Is the PC push being scaled back?

Just a random rumor but GT7 and Demon's Souls for PC have been supposedly cancelled https://www.psu.com/news/demons-souls-and-gran-turismo-7-are-reportedly-no-longer-heading-to-pc/

Also Spiderman 2 is only doing ok, not as good as older PlayStation PC releases.

I saw that rumor too.  who knows if those were ever seriously being ported but I hope Sony holds some stuff back.   don't follow Xbox into obscurity.   I have too many games on PSN to want to move to another platform...

not sure if anyone else still plays helldivers but this warbond looks great to me.  i always use energy weapons in my primary so that i can't run out of ammo.   i generally use a the grenade launcher as my secondary too.   this warbond looks custom made for me.  xD
