...so what are we thinking.  5 million units sold doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

~3 million. I have no idea how concurrent users correlate to sales, but steam sales can be estimated in other ways and it looks to be between 1 and 2 million.

Not sure right now but a bit ago they said ps5 was slightly ahead of pc.

Not sure i believe at half of steam buyers were active at once.  

And with ps5 being at least somewhat higher than pc that would mean 2-4 million.   i'm going with a least 4.  

so that puts this basically at a top teir sony franchise.  Wasn't GoW and horizon right above 3 million?

Once the servers stop burning I think that makes sense.

Don't know if Arrowhead would want to be acquired though. Just an exclusive publishing deal might be good enough for both parties.

So the gamer guy in my work place, He is also a head if a department. I think mid 40s. Came in yesterday and said "whatever you do, don't buy Helldivers 2. Because you won't be doing anything else". Then starts talking about how fun the game is, and even starts talking about the CCU

not only a new high but above among us and now a top 20 game. 

ffs there is no stopping this juggernaut.

terraria is only 489k which feels easily achievable at this point.  top 15 if it does. 

624k would dethone apex legend and would be a MASSIVE achievement.

I'm really surprised that the number just keeps going up almost every day. Sure seems like it's demand growth just as much as it's server capacity growth.
